Abstract

PURPOSE: To properly maintain the output of reactor, by providing interchangeable units for detecting the output distribution of neutron flux in the reactor and replacing a defective detecting unit with another normal detecting unit.
CONSTITUTION: Groups of guide pipes 4a are provided in an instrumentation pipe extending through the core of the reactor. A guide pipe 4b is provided in the center of each group. Pulling paths are provided in the guide pipes 4a, 4b and are connected to each other by a pulling controller. Group pulling mechanisms 6 are located at a uniform spacing in respect to the main body 16a of an integrating mechanism 16. One group pulling mechanism 6 can be displaced to the position of another group pulling mechanism by operating the pulling controller. When the group pulling mechanism of a detecting unit is defective, a motor 16b is driven to replace the group pulling mechanism by another to perform the measuring by the detecting unit.
