Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare fine rare earth oxalate powder, which is a raw material of fluorescent substances, a raw material in electronics or a ceramic material, easily with little contamination with impurities, by converting a rare earth metal salt dissolved in water to a slurry of the hydroxide by alkali treatment, and then reacting it with oxalate ion.
