Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the scab face wear resistance of the covered superhard alloy for cutting and for wear-resisting parts, by forming the covered layer of titanium oxycarbonitride on the surface of the superhard alloy substrate and, further, by covering the above layer with aluminium oxide.
