Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely refine low phosphorus steel of excellent quality by incompletely deoxidizing molten steel after which oxygen gas in introduced into the molten steel in a vacuum vessel and at the same time, an exothermic reagent is added to faciliate decarburization reaction and increase the temp. of the molten steel at early stage.
