Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish simple and quick renewal of adsorbent layer by feeding new adsorbent to a support bed for lower layer and a partition plate after a counter-flow washing water and a feed water is delivered to a lower adsorbent layer so that lower adsorbent is shifted to an upper adsorbent layer through a through hole onlthe partition plate and then the counterflow washing water is reduced.
