Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for testing a living body and other specimens by making use of changes in reflectance and transmittance of an ultrasonic wave irradiated, wherein a ultrasonic wave generated by plural numbers of pulse-modulated frequency signals are irradiated onto the specimen to be tested whereby the sensitivity and the resolution are improved without raising the pulse number.
