At the time of the above operation, if the plurality of electric wires 1 constituting the electric wire group remain in a branched state, it is difficult to insert the electric wire group into the through hole 10A, and the connector 2 at the end of each electric wire 1 is connected to the vehicle body panel 10. When contact is made with the opening end face of the through hole 10A and receives an impact, there is a risk that terminal connection failure occurs inside the connector 2 or the electric wire 1 falls out of the connector 2. Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of electric wires 1 constituting an electric wire group are bound with a tape 3 having a slit,
Around the group of bundled electric wires, a female engaging projection 22 made of a loop-shaped fiber is implanted on the surface.
3, a protective sheet 20 with a narrow male side fabric fastener 24 attached thereto is wound and fixed. In this state, a wire harness W / H is inserted into the through hole 10A from one side of the vehicle body panel 10 with the body panel 10 therebetween. Then, the protective sheet 20 was removed on the other side of the vehicle body panel 10, the tape 3 with slits was cut, and the plurality of bound electric wires 1 were separated.

The protective sheet 20 has a rectangular shape in which the width of one side is slightly larger than the length of the longest wire (usually 200 to 400 mm) of the wires branched at the tip of the wire harness W / H. Therefore, it was difficult to wind the wires around the entire length of a plurality of the bundled electric wires 1 and securely fix them. In particular, as shown in FIG. 6, since a plurality of the bundled electric wires 1 have various lengths of the electric wires and the positions of the terminal connectors 2 are different,
The wound protective sheet 20 may be pushed up by the connector 2 at a plurality of locations, and the engagement between the male-side fabric fastener 23 and the female-side fabric fastener 21 may be partially released immediately after winding. Therefore, when the wire harness W / H is inserted into the through hole 10A, the engagement between the male-side fabric fastener 23 and the female-side fabric fastener 21 is completely released, and the protective sheet 20 is detached from the plurality of wires 1 bound. There was a problem that it would occur.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is directed to claim 1, wherein a group of electric wires having connectors attached to respective terminals branched from ends of a wire harness are inserted into through holes of a vehicle body panel. When wrapping around the wire group, the wire bundle is bound and at the same time protects the connector, and after being inserted into the through hole of the vehicle body panel, is removed from the wire group to return the wire group to a branched state. The back surface of the male-side fabric fastener and the back side of the female-side fabric fastener are attached to each other, and one main surface is used as a planting surface of the male engaging projection of the male-side fabric fastener, and the other main surface is female-engaged with the female-side fabric fastener. It is made of narrow tape as a surface on which the projections are planted, and is wrapped around the entire length of the electric wire group, so that the planting surfaces of the male engaging protrusions of the male fabric fastener and the female engaging protrusions of the female fabric fastener are planted. The overlapping part with the installation surface is engaged To secure the connector and to protect the connector, while pulling one end of the wrapped tape from one end of the tape to the other end and the male engaging projection of the male cloth fastener and the female side. The present invention provides a binding device for a branch electric wire at a wire harness distal end, which is detached from the electric wire group by disengaging a female engaging projection of a cloth fastener.

The narrow tape of the tying member has a relatively hard male-side fabric fastener, but the female-side fabric fastener is flexible and easily deformed, so that it exhibits flexibility as a whole. Therefore, by bundling the branch wires at the end of the wire harness and wrapping them around the outer circumference from one end to the other end, the wires can be firmly bound while the connectors at the ends of the wires are wound. Also, the narrow tape has one main surface on which the male engaging projections of the male-side fabric fastener are planted,
Since the other main surface is the planting surface of the female engaging projection of the female side fabric fastener, the overlapping portion is fixed by the engagement of the male engaging projection and the female engaging projection by the wrap winding, and from the bound electric wire group. It does not come off easily. In addition, a plurality of electric wires can be firmly tightened, and the tape can be easily deformed along the outer peripheral surface of the connector and the tape can be wound around the outer peripheral surface of the connector with good adhesion. It does not become unnecessarily large, and the insertion work into the through hole becomes easy. In addition, since it is a laminated body in which the male-side fabric fastener and the female-side fabric fastener are stacked, the connector has a relatively large thickness, and since the female-side fabric fastener also has elasticity, the connector by the opening end face of the vehicle body panel or through hole. Connector can be reliably protected from interference with the connector. In addition, after inserting the wire harness into the through hole of the vehicle body panel, holding one end of the tape and pulling it, the male fabric fastener and the female fabric fastener are sequentially disengaged from the other end of the tape, thereby simplifying Can be removed from the wire.

First, as shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of electric wires 1 each having a connector 2 attached to each terminal branching from an end of the wire harness W / H are bundled to form a single unit. The tape-shaped tying member 70 is wound by half-wrap winding while tightening the wire group from the tape winding end portion side to the tip end side. At this time, at a position where the connector 2 is located, the binding tool 70 is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the connector 2 while pressing the connector 2 on the outer surface or inside of the wire group. It should be noted that the male engaging projection 61 of the male-side fabric fastener 60 and the female engaging projection 5 of the female-side
1 is engaged, so that the wrapped tying member 70 is fixed while maintaining the wrapped state. Therefore, connector 2
Are firmly tightened by the binding device 70,
Its outer diameter can be reduced to a level slightly larger than the tape winding portion of the harness W / H. Here, the tying member 70 is formed into a roll body wound with the male-side fabric fastener 60 inside, and wound around the electric wire group so that the male-side fabric fastener 60 is in contact with the electric wire group, and is wound around the female-side fabric fastener 50 on the outer peripheral side. Although the male side fabric fastener 60 of the tying tool 70 that is sequentially wound is engaged at the overlapping portion, the tying tool 7
0 is a roll body wound with the female-side fabric fastener 50 inside, and wound around the wire group so that the female-side fabric fastener 50 is in contact with the electric wire group, and sequentially wound around the male-side fabric fastener 60 on the outer peripheral side. Female side fabric fastener 50 may be engaged at the overlapping portion.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the wires bundled by the binding device 70 as described above are transferred from one side of the vehicle body panel 10 to the other side through the through hole 10A of the vehicle body panel 10. Route, and on the other side of the body panel 10,
One end of the tying member 70 is pulled by hand and removed from the electric wire group while disengagement of the female cloth fastener 50 of the male cloth fastener 60 from one end to the other end. Is returned to the branch state. Then, after that, each of the electric wires 1 is routed to a predetermined counterpart electric device, and the connector 2 of the terminal is connected to the counterpart electric device.
At the time of the insertion work into the through hole 10A, the outer diameter of the bundled electric wires is smaller than the tape winding portion of the harness W / H, so that the insertion work can be performed with good workability. In addition, the tying member 70 is a laminated body of the male-side fabric fastener 60 and the female-side fabric fastener 50 and has a thickness of about 3 mm. Since the female-side fabric fastener 50 also has elasticity, a group of wires tied together when inserted. Even if the vehicle collides with the vehicle body panel or the opening end face of the through hole, the binding device 70 functions as an impact buffer. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a failure such as a poor connection of the terminal inside the connector 2 or a drop of the electric wire 1 from the connector 2.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the wire bundle tying tool of the present invention, the wires diverged from the front end of the wire harness are firmly bound and at the same time the connectors at the ends of each wire are protected. Therefore, the work of inserting the wire group into the through hole of the vehicle body panel can be performed with good workability, and at the time of the work of insertion, a poor connection of the terminal occurs inside the connector due to an external impact on the connector. Also, it is possible to prevent such a problem that the electric wire is dropped from the connector. In addition, installation and removal to and from the wire group can be easily performed in a single process, eliminating the need for separate work of bundling the wire group and the exterior work of the protective material as in the past, greatly improving work efficiency. Can be improved. .
