Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring battery packs of different types into contact with common charging terminals on one and the same housing section for charging the battery packs under identical contact condition with high stability, and contact cleaning as well, when it contacts the terminals. SOLUTION: A first housing section 9 and a second housing section 10 which house battery packs 1, 2, differing in thickness from each other, respectively, have one and the same wall face 11. Common charging terminals 12 which are elasticity displaced in the perpendicular direction are formed on a part of the wall face 11. By having the battery packs 1, 2 dropped from above, the battery packs are housed in the first housing section 9 and the second housing section 10, respectively and are charged with the respective contact areas 13 which are in contact with the charging terminals 12. The contact areas 13 and the charging terminals 12 make sufficient cleaning by slide contact at the time of housing.

して収納された前記電池パックのそれぞれの前記端子部
と接触する共通の充電端子とを備えることを特徴とする
異種電池パックの充電装置。
