Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woody decorative board which has an appearance close to natural wood and good water resistance. SOLUTION: A decorative base board is manufactured by a process in which a thin-walled medium specific gravity fiber board 2 in which the surface and the back are formed to be a low density layer 2a and a high density layer 2b respectively is laminated on a woody substrate 1 such as plywood with the low density layer side directed to the surface. A decorative sheet 3 of a synthetic resin film on which a grain pattern is printed is laminated on the base board and subjected to embossing along the grain pattern. In this process, the low density layer 2a of the fiber board 2 is well adapted to the embossing so that sharp, deep embossing can be performed without breaking the decorative sheet 3. After that, the embossed part 4 is stained to form a beautiful conduit pattern along the grain pattern.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to obtain a wood decorative board having a wood grain pattern on the surface, a decorative film having a wood grain pattern printed thereon is attached to the surface of a substrate made of a wood material such as plywood. In order to make the woodgrain pattern more natural wood appearance, a chemical agent is used to make a conduit handle with an ink to which a foaming agent is added on its surface or a curing-suppressing ink to which a chemical that suppresses the curing of the coating film is added. A method and a physical method of producing a pipe pattern by performing embossing on the surface of a film on which the wood grain pattern is printed using an emboss plate, an emboss roll, or an emboss film are known.

On the other hand, according to physical processing using an emboss plate or the like, a sharp and deep emboss can be provided. However, as described above, the emboss plate is attached to the surface of a substrate made of a composite material of a woody material and a medium density fiberboard. When embossing is applied to the decorative film, the medium specific gravity fiber board is usually formed with a hard layer of high density (specific gravity of about 1.0 to 1.1) on the front and back during manufacture, so that cracks and the like are eliminated. Must be gradually pressed with a high pressing force, and the productivity deteriorates.
In addition, when embossing is performed so that the edge becomes sharper, there is a problem that the decorative film at the edge portion is damaged and not only the cosmetic property but also the water resistance is impaired.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Referring to the drawings, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. First, a thin medium-density fiberboard 2 having a thickness of 1 mm or more and 3 mm or less is laminated and adhered to the surface of a wooden substrate 1. A plate A is prepared. As the wood substrate 1, a wood board such as a plywood, a wood cutting board, a wood fiber board (including a medium-density fiber board), a laminated wood, and the like is used. Usually, a member having a size of 2.3 to 25 mm is used.

On the other hand, the medium-density fiberboard 2 to be adhered to the surface of the wood substrate 1 is not a normal medium-density fiberboard in which the front and back layers are formed in a high-density layer. A medium-density fiberboard 2 whose side is formed with high density is used. Such a medium specific gravity fiber board 2 can be obtained by cutting one surface of a normal medium specific gravity fiber board in which the front and back layers are formed at a high density and the inner layer is formed at a low density. Is divided into two parts from the center in the thickness direction of the medium specific gravity fiber board to the front and back sides by a cutter or the like so that a density gradient is formed from one side of the high density layer to the other side of the low density layer. The thin medium specific gravity fiberboards 2 can be efficiently obtained.

As described above, the thin medium-density fiberboard 2 in which the surface layer is formed as the low-density layer 2a and the back layer is formed as the high-density layer 2b,
The decorative base plate A is manufactured by laminating and bonding the back surface, which is the high-density side, to the surface of the wooden substrate 1. The reason why the medium-density fiberboard 2 is adhered to the surface of the wooden substrate 1 with the low-density layer 2a facing the surface side is that embossing is performed after attaching a decorative paper 3 described later on the low-density layer 2a. In addition, even if the edge is sharp and deep embossing is performed, the decorative paper 3 is not torn. Therefore, the medium density fiberboard 2 is laminated and bonded to the surface of the wooden substrate 1 with its high density facing the back side, and the low density layer 2a is embossed. If the average specific gravity of the fiber layer portion having a thickness of about 0.5 mm on the surface layer exceeds 0.75, it may be broken by embossing after the makeup 3 attached to the surface, which may hinder performance, design, etc. The average specific gravity of the thickness portion is formed to be 0.50 to 0.75. When the average specific gravity is 0.50 or less, the surface hardness is insufficient, and even if the decorative paper 3 is embossed, the predetermined performance cannot be obtained.

As described above, according to the method for manufacturing a decorative wooden board of the present invention, the surface of the wooden board has a low density on the surface layer and a high density on the back layer having a medium specific gravity of 3 mm or less. A decorative board is formed by laminating and bonding the fiberboard with its back side on the high-density side facing the surface of the wood substrate, and affixing decorative paper with woodgrain pattern printing on the surface of the decorative board. After that, embossing is applied, and then the embossed portion is stained. Since the thickness of the medium-density fiberboard attached to the surface of the wooden substrate is 3 mm or less, it is extremely thin. When the wooden substrate is plywood, it is curved upward when used as flooring, so-called,
In addition to reducing concave warpage, this medium specific gravity fiber board causes dents and scratches on the surface decorative layer even when subjected to sliding load by wagon casters or local load from piano legs etc. Of course, embossing is applied to this low-density layer with the low-density side of the medium-density fiberboard facing the surface. A deep and sharp emboss can be provided without breakage.

Furthermore, since the embossed portion is stained, it is possible to manufacture a decorative board having a conduit pattern very similar to natural wood, and to provide embossing along the grain pattern printed on decorative paper. Thus, the woodgrain pattern and the conduit handle are harmonized, and a beautiful natural woodgrain-like wood decorative board with excellent cosmetic properties can be obtained. In addition, since embossing can be performed without damaging the decorative paper, an excellent waterproof function can be provided by the decorative paper.
