Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loudspeaker of a repulsion magnetic circuit type, in which heat generated from a voice coil is dissipated and the possibility of baking of a voice coil or deterioration of performance of the speaker is precluded. SOLUTION: In this loudspeaker, a repulsion magnetic circuit 1 is configured, where two magnets 2, 3 are placed so that the same poles are opposed to each other to generate a magnetic field by a repulsion magnetic flux on an outer circumference of the magnets, wherein a voice coil 5 is placed in the magnetic field and inner diametrical parts of a diaphragm 6 and a damper 7 are adhered to a coil bobbin 5a under the voice coil 5. Furthermore, a metal cover member 14 of nearly a dome shape is placed so as to cover the upper part of the repulsion magnetic circuit 1.
