性第1着色層を形成するとともに、該キートップ部材を
固着可能な少なくとも1つの取付部と少なくとも1つの
キートップ部とがそれぞれ薄肉のスカート部を介してベ
ース部に連続する基体を透光性のゴム組成物で成形し、 前記遮光性第1着色層が形成されたキートップ部材を前
記基体の取付部に固着して前記基体に接着されたキート
ップ部材をマスキング治具で被覆し、前記基体の表面全
面に前記キートップ部材の遮光性第1着色層と異なる色
彩の遮光性第2着色層を形成した後に前記マスキング治
具を取り外し、 前記キートップ部材の天面上の遮光性第1着色層および
前記キートップ部天面上の遮光性第2着色層をレーザー
光の照射で文字、記号あるいは図形状に除去して表示部
を形成することを特徴とする照光式押釦スイッチ用カバ
ー部材の製造方法。
