The panel design part 14 and the panel closing part 15
Is an air layer A1 that is strongly cooled by the cooling air that has passed through the heat exchanger discharged from the discharge unit 4.
The air layer A2 around the panel design portion 14 where the change in the temperature to be cooled is relatively small is demarcated by the overlapping of the convex inner rising portion 15d and the concave inner rising portion 14b. The convex inner upright portion 15d and the concave inner upright portion 14b
Is not a completely sealed state, and the air layer A1 and the air layer A2 are connected. However, the convex inner upright portion 15d and the concave inner upright portion 1
The division by the overlap with the air layer 4b functions as a multi-layered heat insulating layer between the air layer A1 and the air layer A2 because convection does not occur even if there is a gap there. Also, in the division by the overlap between the convex outer rising portion 15c and the concave outer rising portion 14a, the space between the panel design portion 14 and the panel closing portion 15 is integrated by a screw, and a gap is formed between the two. Convection does not occur even if air is generated, so that the layer between the air layer A2 and the outside air functions as a multi-layered heat insulating layer.

The direction of the cooling air is specified by the flap 5. Part of the cooling air flows along the surface of the panel design part 14 of the decorative panel 2. At this time, the lower portions of the air layers A1 and A2 formed by the panel design part 14 and the panel closing part 15 are cooled. However, the volume of the air layer A1 and the air layer A2 is such that the volume of the convex outer erected portion 15c overlaps the convex outer erected portion 14a and the convex inner erected portion 15d.
And the concave inner standing portion 14b overlaps,
In the air layer A1 and the air layer A2, the volumes are partitioned to such an extent that convection hardly occurs. Naturally, the overlap between the convex outer rising portion 15c and the concave outer rising portion 14a does not have a volume where convection occurs, and the convex inner rising portion 1c does not have a volume.
The overlap between the 5d and the concave inner upright portion 14b is not a volume where convection occurs. Therefore, the air layer A1
And convection hardly occurs in the air layer A2 and the panel design part 1
4 has a predetermined temperature gradient from the surface to the air layer A1 or the air layer A2. Since there is no discontinuous temperature distribution from the surface of the panel design part 14 to the air layer A1 or the air layer A2, the surface of the panel design part 14 can maintain a state close to the temperature of the cooling air to be blown out, and The air layer A1 or the air layer A2 follows according to the length of the time.
Temperature does not accumulate. Due to the difference between the temperature of the surface of the panel design part 14 and the temperature of the cooling air to be blown, the blown air is cooled on the surface of the panel design part 14, so that water droplets do not adhere to the surface of the panel design part 14.

A concave outer standing portion 14a and a concave inner standing portion 14b are provided between a pair of opposing inner surfaces of a concave outer standing portion 14a and a concave inner standing portion 14b having a predetermined length parallel to the outer periphery of the decorative panel 2. A rib 14B is formed substantially at right angles to the pair of surfaces. The ribs 14B limit the air space A2 formed between the panel design portion 14 and the panel closing portion 15 to a predetermined volume. The air layer A2 formed by the panel design portion 14 and the panel closing portion 15 is defined between the ribs 14B and between the convex outer rising portions 15c and the concave outer rising portions 14a, the convex inner rising portions 15d, and the concave inner rising portions 14b. The ribs 14B partition the air layer A2 formed by the panel design portion 14 and the panel closing portion 15 so that air does not convect, and have a volume of 80 cm 3.
It is divided below. In our experiments, 80c
By Kukaku in m 3 or less, the effect appears, 5
It has been confirmed that 0 to 60 cm 3 or less is particularly suitable. Further, although the partitioning of the volume can be practically performed at 80 cm 3 or less, the panel design part 14 and the panel closing part 15 can also be set by setting the thickness interval between the panel design part 14 and the panel closing part 15 to 2 cm or less. The convection in the air layer A2 formed by the above can be prevented. In particular, the air space A2 formed by the panel design portion 14 and the panel closing portion 15
Is divided into 80 cm 3 or less, and the space between the panel design part 14 and the panel closing part 15 is set to 2 cm or less, whereby the effect of preventing convection in the air layer A2 can be further enhanced.

As described above, the decorative panel for an air conditioner according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a panel design portion made of a plate-like member exposed to the indoor side and the panel design portion located on the opposite side to the indoor side. A panel closing portion made of a plate-like member forming an air layer between the panel design portion and the panel closing portion. Therefore, the concave upright portion and the convex upright portion on the side of the panel design portion and the panel closing portion facing each other have the convex upright portion without the fitting state of the convex upright portion coming into contact with the wall surface of the concave upright portion. Since an air layer of about 5 mm or less is formed on both sides of the upright portion, air convection does not occur at the place where the concave upright portion and the convex upright portion are fitted. When the convection of the air is stopped at the fitting portion between the concave upright portion and the convex upright portion, the air layer formed by the panel design portion and the panel closing portion divides the volume into two, and the two air layers are separated. The volume is reduced, convection in the air layer is less likely to occur, and the layer functions only as a heat insulating layer, and no temperature is accumulated in the air layer.
In addition, due to the difference between the temperature of the surface of the panel design part and the temperature of the cooling air that is blown out, the blown air is cooled on the surface of the panel design part, and water droplets do not adhere to the surface of the panel design part. Also, since the fitting state of the convex upright portion does not contact the wall surface of the concave upright portion, an air layer of about 5 mm or less is formed on both side surfaces of the convex upright portion. ,
The air layer functions as a heat insulating layer, and heat conduction between the air layers can be reduced. Therefore, even if the assembly of the panel design part and the panel closing part is not good, since the assembly of the concave standing part and the convex standing part prevents convection, the air layer formed by the panel design part and the panel closing part is prevented. The heat insulating effect of the resin hardly decreases.
