2. Description of the Related Art Cork is a natural material obtained from a cork layer of a cork oak, and is not made of plant fiber like a general tree but made of aggregates of fine cells and pores. These cells are neatly arranged without gaps, and each is independent including air. Cork having such a structure is lighter in weight than wood and the like, and is excellent in heat insulation, soundproofing, elasticity, abrasion resistance, etc., and by taking advantage of its features, building materials such as flooring and wall materials, or cork stoppers and the like. Widely used for sealing materials, daily necessities, and decorative accessories.

[0003] An adhesive is added to cork powder, a block is formed by heat and pressure, and sliced to a required thickness is used as a cork sheet. Such a cork sheet is used to cure the adhesive. However, there is a problem that a long time is required for molding, the tensile strength of the sliced sheet is weak, and the sheet is likely to be damaged at the stage of secondary processing or the like. Furthermore, the surface of the sliced cork sheet is easily soiled, and it is necessary to form a protective coating by coating with a paint or laminating a thermoplastic resin film, but the price of the sheet becomes expensive, including performance. It was hardly satisfactory.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described below in detail.
The polyvinyl chloride resin used in the composition of the present invention has an average degree of polymerization of 500 to 1500. Average degree of polymerization is 5
If it is less than 00, the physical properties of the vinyl chloride resin sheet containing cork powder are inferior, and it may not be able to withstand use in building materials. On the other hand, if the average degree of polymerization exceeds 1500, the apparent melt viscosity of the resin becomes high when a sheet or the like is manufactured, for example, when it is manufactured by extrusion, so that the load on a forming machine such as an extruder is large, and sheet production is performed. This is not preferred because the properties tend to be poor. The average degree of polymerization of the vinyl chloride resin is more preferably from 700 to 1100. Examples of the vinyl chloride resin include a homopolymer of vinyl chloride, a copolymer of vinyl chloride with another monomer copolymerizable therewith, and a mixture thereof.

The composition of the present invention comprises the above polyvinyl chloride resin, 15 to 150 parts by weight of cork powder and 10 to 120 parts by weight of a plasticizer per 100 parts by weight of the resin. As cork powder, the average particle size is 200 to 500
One having a thickness of 0 μm, preferably 300 to 3000 μm is used. The cork powder used in the present invention is obtained by pulverizing a cork layer of a cork oak, shavings obtained by cutting a cork plug or the like from the cork layer or by further pulverizing the shavings, or forming a cork sheet or cork into a block shape. For example, a product obtained by crushing a certain product and recycling it as cork particles is used.

If the average particle diameter of the cork powder exceeds 5000 μm, the heat generated by the frictional resistance of the cork powder increases during molding, and foaming and coloring occur due to generation of gas due to decomposition of the cork powder. In addition, the average particle size is 200
Fine cork powder of less than μm requires time to grind,
Powdering is likely to occur during mixing during production of the composition, which may contaminate the surroundings. The average particle size of cork powder is expressed as the particle size at which the integrated value of the weight of each fraction measured by a JIS sieve becomes 50% of the whole. The cork powder has an average particle size within the above-mentioned specific range, and is 70% by weight or more, preferably 8% by weight of the whole.
Those having 0% by weight or more of cork powder within the above range are preferred.

When the amount of the cork powder to be blended is less than 15 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl chloride resin, the molded article cannot be reduced in weight and cannot have cushioning properties.
Also poor in design. On the other hand, the amount of cork powder was 15
If the amount exceeds 0 parts by weight, the surface of the molded article becomes insufficient in smoothness, resulting in poor appearance, or the mechanical strength is significantly reduced. A more preferred amount of the cork powder is 25 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl chloride resin.
Parts by weight. The moisture contained in the cork powder is not particularly problematic as long as the cork powder does not significantly absorb moisture. For example, when the cork powder has a water content of more than 10% by weight, foaming during molding becomes intense. The above problems are more likely to occur. In such a case, for example, the water content is reduced beforehand by using an oven or a hopper-dryer, etc., or the cork powder is stirred while heating only the cork powder in the mixer used before mixing with the resin. And a drying treatment, and then blending a polyvinyl chloride resin.

[0011] The water content of the cork powder is preferably 3% by weight or less. The plasticizer used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is a plasticizer usually used for a vinyl chloride resin. Examples of such a plasticizer include phthalic acid diester plasticizers such as di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate, diisononyl phthalate, di-n-octyl phthalate, tri-2-ethylhexyl trimellitate, and triisodecyl trimellitate. Trimellitic acid triester plasticizers, such as di-2-ethylhexyl adipate, diisononyl azelate, di-2-ethylhexyl sebacate, etc., and dibasic acid ester diester plasticizers, such as adipic acid Polyester plasticizers obtained by polycondensing an acid with a glycol such as 1,4-butanediol, and epoxy plasticizers such as epoxidized soybean oil, epoxidized linseed oil, and epoxy resin. The plasticizer is added in an amount of 10 to 120 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the vinyl chloride resin.
If the amount is less than parts by weight, the melt viscosity of the composition is high and the heat generation is high, so that the vinyl chloride resin is easily decomposed and the moldability is also poor. Further, the flexibility of the molded product is poor, and the molded product is easily broken. If the compounding amount exceeds 120 parts by weight, the rigidity of the molded product is insufficient, and there is a possibility that the molded product may not be usable particularly in building material applications. The plasticizer is preferably blended in an amount of 30 to 120 parts by weight, particularly preferably 40 to 110 parts by weight, in view of the physical properties and hardness of the molded article. The cork powder-containing polyvinyl chloride resin composition of the present invention includes a stabilizer, an inorganic filler, a lubricant, a surfactant, a surfactant, an anti-adhesive agent, a pigment, and the like, as long as the object of the present invention is not impaired in addition to the above components. An antibacterial agent or the like may be added.

[0014] The thickness of the sheet thus formed is preferably in the range of 0.5 to 10 mm. If the thickness is less than 0.5 mm, sheet rupture during molding tends to occur, while if the thickness exceeds 10 mm, the molding speed is reduced, and the productivity of the sheet is significantly reduced, Workability during secondary processing also tends to deteriorate. A more preferable sheet thickness is 1 to 5 mm. The sheet-like cork powder-containing polyvinyl chloride-based resin molded product obtained as described above can be used as it is as a wall covering material for interiors or as a wood-based material such as plywood and an adhesive. It may be used after being laminated through layers.

Parts by weight and cork having the average particle diameter and blending amount shown in Table 1 were charged into a supermixer and mixed by stirring to obtain a cork powder-containing vinyl chloride resin mixture. After kneading this mixture with a Banbury mixer, a sheet was formed with a roll, and then a pellet was formed with a pelletizer. The obtained pellets were formed into a sheet at a temperature of 195 ° C., a sheet thickness of 2 mm, and a take-up speed of 0.5 m / min using a 65 mmφT die forming machine manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. The sheet performance such as moldability, sheet properties, and cracking resistance due to nailing was measured for this sheet. The results are shown in Table 1.

Evaluation Results The vinyl chloride resin composition of the present invention is excellent in moldability, and the obtained molded article is excellent in physical properties such as cushioning and stain resistance and crack resistance (Example 1). ~ 3). On the other hand, when the amount of the plasticizer is less than the range specified in the present invention, crack resistance and elongation of the molded product are inferior (Comparative Example 1). When the amount of cork powder is small, the cushioning properties of the molded article are inferior (Comparative Example 2), and when it is large, the strength and elongation of the molded article are inferior (Comparative Example 3). Further, when the average particle size of the cork powder was large, the sheet could not be formed (Comparative Example 4). A commercially available cork sheet is significantly inferior in strength and stain resistance (Comparative Example 5).
