Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to deal with the enhancement of a cutting speed by thinning the wall of a body and easily work connecting portions in a split wet type core bit for a core drill. SOLUTION: In a bisected core bit, a recessed part 14 is formed in a bit 12 while a projecting part 15, which serves as the socket joint between socket and spigot type joints, is formed on a body 13 so as to joint the bit and the body through fitting by applying an epoxy-based adhesive to the socket and the spigot joints. When the splitting of the bit 12 from the body is necessary, the fitting part is heated with a portable gas burner. Thus, the adhesive is deteriorated and the bonding strength between the joints is lowered.

2. Description of the Related Art A core bit for a core drill, which is detachably attached to a drill head of a core drill and is used for drilling a hole in a concrete structure or the like, has a diamond tip attached to an open end of a bottomed cylindrical body in a circumferential direction. As shown in FIG. 1, the body is divided into three parts: a coupling 1 fixed to an output shaft of a drill head, a tube 2 and a bit 4 to which a diamond tip 3 is fixed. 2, a two-part type in which both the body 6 and the bit 4 in which the coupling 1 and the tube 2 are integrated as shown in FIG. 1 are connected by screwing, as shown in FIG. known.

[0003] The core drill is particularly susceptible to wear at the tip of the tip, and in the above-mentioned split type, only the worn part can be replaced. The body becomes thick because it is necessary to cut the screws such as. In recent years, core bits have tended to make the diamond tip at the tip of the bit thinner in order to increase the cutting speed.Thus, the body also tends to be thinner. Processing becomes difficult, and it becomes difficult to obtain processing dimensional accuracy. For this reason, recent core bits have become the mainstream in which the body including the bit is integrated.

A core bit for a core drill according to the present invention is characterized in that a spigot portion for fitting is formed in each of a plurality of portions, and the fitting portions are connected by an adhesive means which melts or deteriorates when heated. The manufacturing method is characterized in that the spigot portions of each of the divided portions are connected to each other by fitting via an adhesive means.

According to the present invention, for example, when the bit is removed for replacement, the fitting portion is heated. This makes it possible to remove the bit by melting or deteriorating the bonding means. As the bonding means used in the present invention, for example, soft solder represented by solder, or silver solder, copper solder,
Examples thereof include brazing wax such as brass brazing, epoxy-based, and cyanoacrylate-based adhesives. Of these, the former wax is reversible and solidifies again when cooled even when melted by heating. Therefore, in the case of a core bit having a large diameter and a long circumference, it is necessary to heat the entire circumference at one time, and since the melting point of the wax is relatively high, it is necessary to heat the wax at a high temperature to melt it. For this reason, a furnace is required to separate a part of the core bit, and it cannot be melted on site by a portable gas burner.

In this respect, the latter adhesive is not reversible, and once deteriorated by heating, does not return to its original state.
The adhesive is degraded only by sequentially heating the circumference once, the adhesive strength is reduced, and separation is possible. Further, since the adhesive has a relatively low melting point, the heating temperature can be lowered. In addition,
In the case of the wet method, during cutting, the core bit is cooled by injecting cooling water into the cut portion, and is not heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of the adhesive, so that the adhesive does not deteriorate.

Therefore, another aspect of the invention is characterized in that the core bit is of a wet type and the bonding means is an adhesive.

A bit 12 having a diamond tip 11 at its tip;
This shows a two-part core bit divided into the other body 13, in which a concave portion 14 is formed in the bit 12, and a spigot portion including a convex portion 15 is formed in the body 13, and the concave portion 1 is formed.
An epoxy-based adhesive is applied to one or both of the projection 4 and the projection 15 and then connected by fitting (see FIG. 4). In FIG. 4, reference numeral 16 denotes an adhesive.

According to the first and third aspects of the present invention, it is possible to easily divide the fitting means by melting or deteriorating the bonding means by heating the fitting part, and it is possible to replace only the worn part by dividing. Even if the core bit has a large diameter, it can be easily transported by dividing it, and the distribution cost can be reduced.Since it is only necessary to form a spigot for fitting, it is easier to process than cutting a screw. It is easy to obtain accuracy, is inexpensive, has the effect of reducing the wall thickness of the body, and coping with an improvement in cutting speed.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the adhesive has a lower melting point than the brazing material, the adhesive deteriorates by heating at a relatively low temperature, the strength is reduced, and the adhesive can be divided. Once deteriorated, it does not return to its original state, so that it can be separated only by heating the circumference once, and therefore it is possible to separate and replace it on site using a portable gas burner.
