Hydraulic pressure is generated in the cylinder body 4 and passes through the first two-port, two-position solenoid-operated switching valves 7A, 7B to form the left and right front wheels 9
A and 9B are supplied to the wheel cylinders 10a and 10b, and the wheels 9A and 9B are braked. When the controller ECU determines that the brake should be released now, the first two-port, two-position electromagnetic switching valve 7A,
The solenoids 12a, 12b of the 7B are excited, and the solenoids 13a, 13b of the second two-port, two-position electromagnetic switching valves 8A, 8B are also excited. As a result, the first two-port, two-position solenoid-operated directional control valves 7A, 7B are shut off,
Further, the second two-port, two-position electromagnetic switching valves 8A, 8B enter a communicating state. Thereby, the wheel cylinder 10
The hydraulic fluid from a and 10b passes through the second two-port, two-position electromagnetic switching valves 8A and 8B and discharges the brake fluid to the reservoir 16. This releases the brake.

The two-position electromagnetic switching valves 7A and 7B are shut off, and
The second two-port, two-position electromagnetic switching valves 8A and 8B are also shut off. Therefore, the wheel cylinders 10a, 10b
Holds a constant brake fluid pressure. In the above-described anti-skid control device, there is no hydraulic pump conventionally provided, and therefore, the amount of the brake fluid discharged to the reservoir 16 in order to reduce the brake fluid pressure is controlled by the reservoir 1.
6, the capacity of the reservoir 16 is determined in order to perform a predetermined anti-skid control. However, the control method is different from the conventional one, and the road surface condition, the wheel acceleration, In consideration of various parameters such as the wheel speed, the amount of brake fluid discharged to the reservoir 16 is made as small as possible. However, even in this case, there is a possibility that the reservoir 16 may be filled with the brake fluid and control may be impossible.

And a valve body that shuts off and communicates with the output port, and a solenoid for attaching and detaching the valve body, wherein the valve body separates from the valve seat when the current flowing through the solenoid is zero,
In a solenoid valve that is seated on the valve seat when a current equal to or more than a predetermined value flows through the solenoid, the distance between the valve seat and the valve body is adjusted according to the magnitude of the current flowing through the solenoid. The solenoid valve is characterized in that it is made to do so.

Will be described. Since these have the same configuration, only the one 40A will be described below. The solenoid valve 40A according to the embodiment of the present invention functions according to the operation principle as shown in FIGS. That is, FIG.
A valve ball 44 is provided in the main body 41 as shown by a symbol. The valve ball 44 is provided on a valve seat 41a formed in the main body 41 so as to be detachable from the main body 41. A current a is applied to the solenoid Sa to generate a force having a magnitude indicated by an arrow A. The current a is applied to urge the valve ball 44 as a valve body downward. As a result, an opening 43 communicating with the master cylinder 1 and openings 42a and 42b communicating with the wheel cylinder are formed in the main body 41. The valve ball 44 is moved by the force A due to the current a to the valve seat 41a.
And the master cylinder side and the wheel cylinder side are shut off. That is, it is in the cutoff state. this is,
Even if the pressure difference ΔP between the master cylinder side and the wheel cylinder side hydraulic pressure is large (FIG. 2B) or small (FIG. 2A), the magnitude of the current, Force A is defined.

When it is desired to open the valve 4, the magnitude of the force, that is, the current, is changed according to the differential pressure ΔP for the same opening degree. That is,
As shown by A in FIG. 3, when the differential pressure ΔP is small, the force A ′ pressing the valve ball 44, that is, the current value a ′, is small to form a constant opening Q. When the pressure difference ΔP between the hydraulic pressures on the master cylinder side and the wheel cylinder side is large, the force A ″ pressing the valve ball 44 for the same opening degree Q,
That is, the value of the current a ″ is increased.

Q2 となる。FIG. 4 shows the above description in terms of braking slip control of an automobile. That is, when the difference between the hydraulic pressure P 1 on the master cylinder side and the hydraulic pressure P 2 on the wheel cylinder side is ΔP 1 , the distance between the valve ball and the valve seat by adjusting the current flowing through the solenoid Sa, when the degree of opening was large, the amount of brake fluid that flows into the wheel cylinder to the predetermined time is greater in Q 1, also for the same [Delta] P 1 is the case where the opening degree of the small, smaller than the flow rate Q 2 Becomes

When P reaches a predetermined value, the current flowing through the solenoid is defined as I 2 . Thus the distance between the valve ball and the valve seat, i.e. the opening degree is a is a communicating state small, thereby the amount of liquid flowing in the wheel cylinder with time as indicated by the dotted line with time, i.e. the wheel cylinder pressure P 21 is although changes to, the time t 3 reaches P 21.

That the change amount is P 21 in greater time t 2. This is a control in the case where the time is determined, but if the fluid pressure reaches a predetermined value, the arrival time becomes long as t 3 when the opening degree is small. However, in any case, the above-described control is performed in the road surface condition and the deceleration of the vehicle, and the amount of liquid discharged to the reservoir can be ideally minimized.

Using this phenomenon, a master cylinder with a booster has been described in the prior art using this phenomenon. However, since ΔP 1 is a hydraulic pressure that increases in accordance with the depression force on the brake pedal 2, the opening is large. If so, the hydraulic pressure supplied to the wheel cylinder can be increased, that is, a booster function can be provided, so that the booster as shown can be omitted. The opening degree may be large or small according to the coefficient of friction of the road surface, for example, according to the high μ and the low μ.

The conventional noise at the time can be significantly reduced.

The solenoid valve according to the above-described embodiment of the present invention is used as 0C and 40D. The control method is the same as that of the first embodiment, and the amount of brake fluid discharged to the reservoirs 30A and 30B can be minimized.
