部をハンマーで軽く叩くだけで下方突出部の径と同程度
の穴を開けることができる。そのため従来の剣先ボルト
のように径の大きい突出部の径と同程度の穴を開ける場
合よりも、小さな叩き力で十分可能である。従って作業
者の作業時に生ずる疲労感を従来のものに比し著しく減
少せしめ、さらに上述のように小さな叩き力で所望する
形状の穴開けができるので、作業者の足元がふらつくよ
うなことがないと共に、足元のふらつきがないので、作
業中の転落を未然に防止せしめた。
