Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the splash of stored water at the time of evacuation by covering a stored water surface in a stool for a Western style flush toilet with the layer of bubbles having proper viscosity. SOLUTION: A surface-active agent aqueous solution 2 is forwarded into a foaming machine 1, and foamed bubbles are flowed into a stool 3 for a Western style flush toilet. Since bubbles have fluidity, bubbles are spread on a stored water surface, and a bubble layer 5 is formed. A laser sensor 6 is installed beforehand to the lower section of a toilet seat 10 at that time, the thickness of the bubble layer 5 is decided by irradiating the top face of the bubble layer 5 with laser beams and detecting the reflected light, and the foaming machine 1 is controlled. The splash of stored water at the time of evacuation is prevented by utilizing the viscosity and cushioning action of bubbles by foaming the surface-active agent aqueous solution and covering the stored water surface with the bubble layer 5.

2. Description of the Related Art Western-style flush toilets have been rapidly spread in recent years because they are more hygienic than Japanese-style flush toilets and have a light burden on the body. However, in order to prevent dirt and bad smell in the toilet bowl, a certain amount of water is always accumulated,
During defecation, spilled water often splashes and attaches to the buttocks and surrounding areas. This is extremely unsanitary and unpleasant because it is a liquid in which urine and urine are dissolved. However, there has been no idea how to prevent this.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the problem, a method of covering the reservoir surface in the toilet with a foam layer was considered. The surfactant aqueous solution (2) is sent to the whisk (1), foamed, and the foam is poured into the toilet (3) of a Western flush toilet. Since the foam has fluidity, it spreads on the surface of the reservoir water to form a foam layer (5). At the time of drainage, once the water is added to the toilet and the water level rises, if the foam layer is too thick, it will overflow at this time. Since a sufficient effect can be obtained even if the thickness is not so large, a foaming machine is controlled by detecting a foam amount with a sensor so as to have an appropriate thickness. Since it is a foam, it can be drained after defecation without any problems. Some bubbles will remain,
If left undisturbed, it will not sprout naturally, so there is no problem. Whether or not to generate foam is selected by the individual and can be foamed by operating a switch.

[Function] As an example of the use of the properties of foam, it is attached to a tap to create many bubbles in tap water, and the bubbles act as a cushion against falling tap water, preventing splashing. There are utensils. This is to generate air bubbles in tap water, which is the main component of the splash, but in the present invention, the surface of the reservoir water, which is the main component of the splash, is covered with a layer of foam generated from the aqueous surfactant solution. That is the method. Foam has viscosity and also acts as a cushion. The intense and complex movement of the water surface that stool falls into the pool water,
As the viscosity of the foam is attenuated,
The splashed water drops are trapped in the foam layer and lose their kinetic energy, so they do not fly over them. Therefore, the principle is that the water does not splash. Furthermore, since the foam has fluidity, it spreads evenly on the surface of the reservoir, and even if stool falls or urine breaks part of the foam, the surrounding foam flows and closes the defective part of the foam layer Therefore, the effect lasts until the end of defecation. However, since the viscosity and life of the foam vary depending on the type and concentration of the surfactant, the size of the foam, and the like, it is necessary to consider these conditions so that the viscosity becomes appropriate. If the viscosity is too strong, the foam life is generally long and the effect of damping the movement of the water surface is great,
Because of the lack of fluidity, it does not spread on the surface of the reservoir. When the stool falls, a hole is formed in the foam layer at that part, and the stool does not block. On the other hand, if the viscosity is too weak, it will be the opposite of the strong case. By selecting an appropriate concentration and bubble size according to the surfactant used, a foam having an appropriate viscosity can be obtained. With foam adjusted in this way, a sufficient effect can be obtained with a foam layer having a thickness of about 5 cm as a result of experiments. In addition, the method of covering the reservoir surface with a foam layer has several effects in addition to the prevention of splashing, which will be described later.

(B) Put an aqueous surfactant solution into a closed vessel, put an air stone connected to a tube into it, and send air with an air pump to foam. The foam is led into the toilet by a tube. Unless the air pump has a large discharge amount per unit time, it takes time to form a foam layer. (B) In the example of (a), since the foam reaches the toilet after filling the inside of the aqueous surfactant solution container and the tube, it takes a long time. Therefore, in order to shorten the waiting time while making use of the simplicity of the device (a), a foaming container is installed in addition to the aqueous surfactant solution container, and the lower portions of both are connected by a tube. The foam container has a small diameter and the volume of the space is made as small as possible. In this case, since bubbles are not generated in the surfactant aqueous solution container, the solution can be easily replenished. (C) Ideally, the foaming part is made independent, attached to the inside of the toilet, and the surfactant aqueous solution and the pressurized gas are sent from outside through a thin tube. As a device for this purpose, a valve that opens and closes by the pressure of pressurized gas and creates a bubble by vigorously stirring a surfactant aqueous solution inside is used. (D) The compressed gas and the aqueous surfactant solution are sealed in a small cylinder and foamed by operating a nozzle like a spray can. It is also possible to make a cylinder-replaceable device, or to hold the cylinder by hand and push the nozzle onto the toilet to drop the foam directly onto the reservoir surface.

(B) A timer is set so that a predetermined amount foams, and when a switch is pressed, a certain amount foams and stops, and a foam layer having an appropriate thickness is formed. (B) The thickness (height) of the foam layer is determined by irradiating a laser beam to the upper surface of the foam layer with the laser sensor (6) and detecting the reflected light, and the foaming machine (1) is controlled. (C) According to the appropriate foam layer height, an electrode is attached to the inner surface of the toilet, and the thickness (height) of the foam layer is determined based on the value of the electric resistance, and the foaming machine (1) is controlled. . (D) If the foam layer becomes too thick, water will be added at the time of drainage and the water level will rise and overflow, so the overflow prevention drain port (8) is provided at the limit position of the foam layer height and the sensor To automatically suction and discharge bubbles.

(B) In some cases, it may be necessary to forcibly remove bubbles, so a shower (7) for defoaming is installed and a foam layer (5)
Pour shower water towards. If the water level rises as it is and there is a risk of overflow at the time of drainage, and in order to eliminate bubbles quickly, a defoaming port (9) is provided at the height of the reservoir surface and suction is performed. The suction of the defoaming port is linked with the defoaming shower.

(B) Retrofitting function with special function This machine is designed to prevent splashing and can be retrofitted to an existing Western flush toilet. There are many restrictions on providing the automatic adjustment function, and manual operation is mainly performed. (B) Replaceable toilet seat integrated type The retrofit toilet seat and the automatic foam volume adjustment function are provided as an integrated type. (C) Toilet-integrated type A toilet with built-in splash prevention function from the beginning. It is easy to have automatic foam amount adjustment, overflow prevention and defoaming functions. Of course, the function may be held down to the basic specification. (D) Simple cylinder type The compressed gas and the aqueous surfactant solution are sealed in a spray can or the like. Hold it by hand and push the nozzle over the toilet to foam it and drop the foam directly onto the surface of the pool. It is a disposable type and is always kept in the toilet room. You have to adjust the amount of foam, etc. at your own discretion, but you can easily prevent it from popping up even with existing Western-style flush toilets. (E) Portable type (d) The size of the cylinder is small enough to carry, and if you carry it, you can prevent any Western-style flush toilet from splashing up and defecate. Since it is small, the number of times it can be used is small.

(B) Prevents splashing of dewatered water in Western-style flush toilets, which is hygienic and frees from discomfort of flushing. (B) Since the foam layer covers the surface of the stagnant water in which the stool is dissolved, the odor is prevented from diffusing from the stagnant surface. (C) Addition of a fragrance or deodorant to the surfactant aqueous solution or the pressurized gas has the effect of preventing and eliminating odors in the air. (D) If a bactericide is added to the aqueous surfactant solution, there is a bactericidal effect in the toilet. Bacteria easily proliferate near the reservoir surface due to contact with air, and are particularly dirty along the edge of the reservoir water inside the toilet. Since a foam layer is formed exactly at that position, the bactericidal effect is high, and at the same time, the inherent cleaning effect of the surfactant can be utilized. (E) There is a blindfold effect in which the stool after defecation is not visible, and it is released from visual discomfort. Further, by adding various dyes to the aqueous surfactant solution and coloring the foam layer, the effect is further enhanced.
