Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.側壁、第1および第2の端部を有する容器(14)であって、該第1の端部が流 体が流れるための無菌接続部を設けるのに適合可能なオリフィスを規定し、該第 2の端部が中央オリフィスを規定する、容器(14)と、 該容器内にスライド可能に配置されたプランジャー(18)であって、該プランジ ャーが、上壁に連結されて流体収容空間を規定する底壁(26)を有し、該上壁が、 流体を収容するための開口部(29)を規定するように位置され構成される拘束部材 (28)を規定し、該開口部(29)が、該流体収容空間が該拘束部材(28)の開口部より 上に位置されるような状態にシリンジが逆さにされた場合に、該流体収容空間に 流体を保持するように適合される、プランジャー(18)と、 該プランジャーに固定され、該容器の該第2の端部によって規定される中央オ リフィスを通る延伸部材と を備える、遠心分離可能なシリンジ。 2.前記第1の端部により規定される前記オリフィスが、その間を流れる流体の ための無菌接続部を設けるのに適合した取り付け部(12)を備え、前記拘束部材(2 8)が、中央開口部を規定する環状部材である、請求項1に記載のシリンジ。 3.流体サンプルがその中を流れる、前記取り付け部(12)に固定された中空針(1 3)をさらに備える、請求項2に記載のシリンジ。 4.流体サンプルがその中を流れる、前記取り付け部(12)に固定された無菌化可 能なチューブ(35)をさらに備え、該チューブが、無菌流体サンプル容器との連絡 のために適合される、請求項2に記載のシリンジ。 5.前記チューブ(35)がさらに流体サンプルリザーバ(33)に接続されている、請 求項4に記載のシリンジ。 6.前記流体収容空間に配置され、かつ前記容器内の前記拘束部材(28)より上の レベルまで延びる細胞分離媒体(20)をさらに備える、請求項1〜5のいずれかに 記載のシリンジ。 7.前記延伸部材が、前記プランジャーの底壁に固定された実質的に剛直なハン ドル(16)を備える、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のシリンジ。 8.前記ハンドル(16)が、前記プランジャーの底壁に再取り付け可能に固定され ている、請求項7に記載のシリンジ。 9.前記プランジャーが、前記容器の内径と係合し封止される外径(46)を有する 円筒状のハウジングを備える、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のシリンジ。 10.前記シリンジ中の前記拘束部材(28)により規定された前記開口部が複数の開 口部を備える、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のシリンジ。 11.以下の工程を包含する、流体標本の抽出および遠心分離方法: 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の遠心分離可能なシリンジ(10)を設ける工程; 前記プランジャー(18)内の流体収容空間を、該プランジャーの上壁より上のレ ベルまで細胞分離媒体(20)で充填する工程; サンプル(30)を、該シリンジ、および該細胞分離媒体上に引き入れる工程と、 該シリンジ中の該サンプルが前記シリンジ容器の第2の端部に向かって引かれ るように、該シリンジに遠心分離圧をかける工程;および 該シリンジに遠心分離圧をかけた後に、該プランジャーの上壁の上に残ってい る該サンプルの一部を取り出す工程。
