Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ファイバ補強材料の工作物に孔や凹所を明ける方法として、これが: 後位シャフト部と前者と一体化した中心軸線を有する前位切削部とを有する回 転工具であって、当該切削部が少なくとも1対の縦方向へ延在するフルートと当 該工具の直径を規定するように各フルートに隣接し且つ円周上に配位するダイヤ モンド製や立方晶窒化ホウ素製の対応する1対の切刃とを有する焼結体である斯 ゝる回転工具を準備し; 該工具を軸線に関して回転させ; 該工具が初期の侵徹を達成するまで当該軸線に沿って該工具を送り; 該初期侵徹の完了後に該工具の軸線が該工具の前記送り軸線に対して該工具の 直径より大きな所望直径の孔を穿削するに要する距離だけ偏位した状態で以て旋 回するように該工具を支持し;そして 当該孔が完成するまで該方向へ該工具を送る、以上の工程を含んで成る斯ゝる ファイバ補強材料の工作物に孔や凹所を工作する方法。 2.該工具が少なくとも1対の捩じれフルートと対応する捩じれ切刃を具備し ている、請求項1の方法。 3.該工具は捩じれドリルの形状として、該捩じれ切刃が該工具の前位切削端 部の頂点を完全に横切って延在するダイヤモンドや立方晶窒化ホウ素の部分と相 互接続している斯ゝるドリル形状のものである、請求項1の方法。 4.該工具は該エンドミルの前端を越えて延在する前位切削部として、これが 該工具の縦軸線の近傍から始まり、周辺に向けて外方 へ湾曲した曲線に沿って半径外方へ延在する切刃を含んで成る斯ゝる前位切削部 を具備している、請求項1の方法。 5.該工具は回転中心から始まって、対称的に延在し、且つ回転方向とは逆の 方向に外方へ湾曲している2つの切刃であって、各切刃がそのすくい面の半径内 位局部で略ゼロになるすくい角を有するように形成されている斯ゝる2つの切刃 から構成されている前位切削部を具備している、請求項2の方法。 6.該工具の送り方向が該工作物材のファイバの方向に対し直角である、請求 項1の方法。 7.該工具が該工具端を横切る直径方向に配設された溝の中で延在するダイヤ モンドや立方晶窒化ホウ素で作られた切刃を具備している、請求項2の方法。
