Method for producing non-aqueous bleach-containing liquid detergent composition
Field of the invention
The present invention comprises a bleaching system which is non-aqueous in nature and is based on a peroxygen bleach.
The present invention relates to a method for producing heavy duty liquid (HDL) laundry detergent products.
Background of the Invention
Liquid detergent products are often better used than dry powder or granular detergent products.
Considered useful. Therefore, liquid detergents have gained substantial consumer popularity.
I got it. Such liquid detergent products can be easily weighed and quickly drained into washing water.
It dissolves quickly and is easily applied to soiled areas on clothes that are washed with concentrated solutions or dispersions.
Usable and dust-free. Also, they usually have less storage space than granular products.
Take the pace. In addition, liquid detergents are used in the manufacture of granular or granular detergent products.

Substantially all the particles of the composition continue to maintain this mixture of composition components under shear agitation.
Can be added while stirring. Other solid forms except for the optional enzyme component
May be added to the composition at this point. Mixing the mixture
If necessary, increase the agitation at this point to remove insoluble solid particulate matter in the liquid phase.
Can be formed into a uniform dispersion.
At this point, the required peroxygen bleach particles are again added to the mixture under shear stirring.
Can be added to the liquid matrix while maintaining the Peroxygen bleach substance
By adding at the end, or after adding all or most of the other ingredients,
But especially after adding the alkyl sulfate and desiccant / alkali source particles
Achieves the desired stability benefits of peroxygen bleaches in compositions made by this method.
Wear.
After addition of the bleach particles, stirring of the mixture will have the required viscosity and phase stability properties.
For a time sufficient to prepare the composition. Often this is about 30-6
Will involve 0 minutes of stirring. During this final agitation, any enzyme material, for example,
, Prills may be added if desired.
In another method of making the composition, one or more of the solid components comprises:
Stir and mix as a slurry of premixed particles with one or more small portions of the liquid component
It may be added to the compound. Thus, a small portion of the nonionic surfactant and / or
Are particles and / or particles of a non-aqueous low-polar solvent and an alkyl sulfate surfactant.
The premix with the particles of the lukity source and / or the particles of the bleach activator
It may be prepared separately and added to the stirred mixture of composition components as a slurry. Only
However, the addition of such a slurry premix is regulated in a similar manner per se.
Addition of peroxygen bleach particles which may be part of the premix slurry to be made
Should precede it.Uses of the composition
Compositions made according to the present invention are suitable for use in laundry and bleaching of fabrics.
It can be used to prepare aqueous laundry liquors. Generally, an effective amount of such
Composition, in addition to water, preferably in a conventional cloth washing automatic washing machine,
Prepare such an aqueous wash / bleach solution. Then the aqueous wash so formed
The rinse / bleach is contacted with the fabric to be washed and bleached therewith, preferably while stirring.
Let it.
An effective amount of the liquid detergent composition of the present invention for preparing an aqueous laundry / bleach in addition to water is:
It must be sufficient to form about 500 to 7,000 ppm of the composition in aqueous solution.
Can be. More preferably, about 1,000 to 3,000 of the detergent composition of the present invention.
ppm would be provided to the aqueous wash / bleach.
An example
The following examples illustrate the preparation of the detergent compositions of the present invention, but do not limit the scope of the present invention.
Or does not necessarily mean to define otherwise.
Example I
The detergent composition is prepared by mixing together the ingredients indicated in Table I in the exemplified proportions.
Manufacturing. These steps in the process are described in detail in Table I below.
It is.
All liquid components (alcohol ethoxylate, organic solvent
, Pluronic). The mixture is mechanically operated at 350 rpm
Mix well with a mixer (Lightnin mixer). Keep stirring
While the sodium citrate, DTPA and FWA particles are then added. Then
3,000 minutes-1Operated by Ultra Turrax (Ul
tra-Turrax) T50, high shear dispersion in IKA Laver Technique Disperser
To further process.
The mixture is then returned to the Lightnin mixer and stirred at 500 rpm
Below, add sodium lauryl sulfate. Under continuous stirring, add sodium carbonate
And then the powdered bleach activator. All solid particles are wet and liquid
Mix the mixture thoroughly until well dispersed in the body matrix. Then,
Add sodium acid monohydrate. Finally, while continuing to mix at 800 rpm,
And the protease prill is added last.
The finished product is an opaque white creamy liquid with suspended solids. Blue
The enzyme prill is visible and gives the product a speckled appearance. The viscosity is 50r
Measured in Brookfield RV Viscometer with RV # 5 spindle at pm
Sometimes 620 cps. After one week at room temperature, the viscosity of the product reaches 1000 cps
And then remains relatively constant. About 5% separation (clear phase on top layer)
Observed after 3 days at warm. This separated phase is easily dispersed and the dispensability of the product is good.
It is good. The chemical stability of this product is excellent. After 4 weeks at 100 ° F, the original
> 85% of available oxygen is still retained.
