Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 光網上で搬送される多ビットパケットを処理する方法であって、パケット と共にマーカーパルスを伝送し、該マーカーパルスを複製し、かつ、パケットに 対する後続の動作で使用するためにビットレート又はその約数倍でクロック信号 を作ることを特徴とする方法。 2. さらに、ビットレートクロック信号を使用して多ビットパケットを再タイ ミングすることで成る請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 再タイミングの段階において、パケット及び再生したクロックパルス列を 非線形光変調器(NOM)に導入し、次にパケットが分散媒体上に出力されると きにパケットの交差位相変調及びクロックパルス列がパケットのビットを再タイ ミングすることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 4. パケット再生段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項 に記載の方法。 5. パケット再生段階において、再生したクロックパルス列が光スイッチに入 力され、光スイッチはパケットデータ流によってゲートされ、それにより該スイ ッチの出力で再生されたデータ流を作ることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法 。 6. 光スイッチが非線形ループミラー(NOLM)であることを特徴とする請 求項5に記載の方法。 7. パケットからのマーカーパルスが複製の前に増幅されるか、フィルタされ るか、もしくは整形されるマーカーパルス再生段階を含むことを特徴とする請求 項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法8. マーカーパルスはパケットの他の パルスとの固定的な時間関係によって他のパルスと区別されていることを特徴と する請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 9. マーカーパルスはパケットの他のパルスとビット非同期の時間関係を持つ ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 10. マーカーパルスは該マーカーパルスを含むパケットヘッダと該ヘッダの 遅延バージョンとのANDをとることによって分離され、遅延はマーカーパルス がヘッダの別のパルスとANDゲートで一致するようにされていることを特徴と する請求項9に記載の方法。 11. 再生したクロックを用いてデマルチプレクサをクロックする段階を含む ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 12. 前記デマルチプレクサをクロックする段階は、それぞれ整数のビット周 期分だけ異なる遅延を有する複数のパケットのコピーとクロック信号とのAND をとることを含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 13. 光網上で搬送される多ビットパケットを処理するための光回路であって 、多ビットパケットと共に搬送されるマーカーパルスから、パケットに対する後 続の動作で使用するためにパケットビットレート又はその約数倍でクロックを生 成するようにされたマーカーパルス複製段階(1)を特徴とする光回路。 14. 請求項13に記載の回路を含む光パケット再タイミング装置。 15. 請求項13に記載の回路を含む光パケット再生器。 16. 請求項13に記載の回路を含む光パケットデマルチプレクサ。 17. 光網上で搬送される多ビットパケットを処理する方法であって、パケッ トと共にマーカーパルスを伝送し、次にパケット共に搬送されるマーカーパルス から光のワードを生成し、パケットを該光のワードで処理し、かつ、処理したパ ケットを出力することを特徴とする方法。 18. パケットを処理する段階において、パケットは光スイッチ内で光のワー ドによってゲートされることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 19. パケットを処理する段階において、パケットの選ばれたチャンネルがデ マルチプレクスされることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 20. マーカーパルスはパケットの他のパルスとの固定的な時間関係により他 のパルスと区別されていることを特徴とする請求項17乃至19のいずれか1項 に記載の方法。 21. マーカーパルスは他のパルスとビット非同期の時間関係を持つことを特 徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。 22.パケットが同期OTDMフレームであり、マーカーパルスから形成された 光のワードは該OTDMフレームの選ばれたチャンネルと対応するビット位置に パルスを有することを特徴とする請求項17乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方 法。 23. 光網上で搬送される多ビットパケットを処理するための光回路であって 、マーカーパルスをパケットから分離するようにした分離器段階(1)と、マー カーパルスから光のワードを形成するようにしたワード形成段階(3’)と、パ ケットを光のワードで処理するための処理段階(4)とを特徴とする光回路。
