Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a data line filter to be soldered by a reflow soldering method and automatically mounted by a method wherein a solder connecting part is provided to both edge faces of a magnetic body. SOLUTION: A magnetic body 1 of ferrite is formed like a plate, and pin insertion holes 5 are provided to the magnetic body 1. The periphery of the magnetic body 1 is insulated, and a solder connection part 2 is provided to both the edges of the magnetic body 1 respectively. When the magnetic body 1 is mounted on a connector 3, the pins 4 of the connector 3 are inserted into the pin insertion holes 5 of the magnetic body 1, and the solder connection parts 2 are soldered to the connector 3 by a reflow method to fix the magnetic body 1. By this setup, a magnetic body is capable of coping well with high-frequency electromagnetic noises, being automatically mounted, and lessened in cost for mounting on a connector.
