According to the caulking proposed above,
As shown in FIG. 7 (B) and its enlarged view (C), the caulking piece 83 and the plate 90 are formed with a thin caulking convex portion 89 and a caulking bent portion 92 by the caulking. At that time, plate 9
No. 0 deforms 94 the opening side of the concave groove 87 to the side opposite to the caulking direction around the corner of the step 88a on the tip end side of the caulking receiving groove 88, and the caulking piece 86 of the shape member 82 is also wound to the hollow side. Will be deformed so that As described above, when the deformation 94 or the like occurs only in the caulked portion, the plate 90 is in a state of being undulated in the longitudinal direction, the buckling strength of the plate 90 is reduced, and the entire structural material 80 assembled by such caulking is reduced. The strength will be impaired. Further, the deformation 94 and the like narrows the fixation by caulking only to the point-like fitting portion between the caulking bent portion 92 and the caulking receiving groove 88. Accordingly, there is a problem that the connection strength between the profile 82 and the plate 90 is significantly reduced from an intended design. Moreover, the plate 90 and the profile 82
The deformation of the caulking piece 86 can be caused by disposing a so-called pressing plate around the punch P and a receiving plate on the opposite side, and restraining the both at the time of driving. The deformed remains.

[0005] Such deformation creates a gap S between the profile 82 and the plate 90. For this reason, when various external forces are applied during use as the hollow structural member 80, the gap S is enlarged, and the caulking portion starts to rattle or may come off extremely. In addition, rainwater and dust enter the gap S, and there is a risk that the swaged portion may stain the inside of the hollow structural member 80 from the base or cause corrosion. Furthermore, the deformation reveals a state in which the plate is distorted in the longitudinal direction when the beam or the like is installed indoors and outdoors at a place where the beam can be seen, and becomes unsightly from an aesthetic point of view. The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems in the conventional caulking, and in the caulked portion of the two members such as the shape member and the plate material, prevents the above-described distortion and deformation, obtains the desired connection strength, and obtains the vicinity of the caulked portion. It is an object of the present invention to provide a caulking structure, a caulking method, and a caulking device used in the caulking structure, which enable the original caulking to be accommodated without generating the gap.

When the punch 20 descends, the pointed end of the punch portion 22 first comes into contact with the outer surface of the caulking piece 3 of the first member 1, and as shown in FIG. The portion is deformed following the conical shape of the punch portion 22 to form a downwardly caulking convex portion 6 on the caulking piece 3 (see FIG. 2C). At the same time, of the end of the second member 10 in the concave groove 2, the portion located on the caulking receiving groove 5 is also thin and hemispherical around the caulking convex portion 6 according to the pressing of the punch portion 22. Is formed. As a result, a swaged portion 9 is formed. When the punch 20 is lowered, the punch 2
As shown in FIG. 1B, the pointed end of the second member 2 reaches the position in the crimp receiving groove 5 and the pressing surface 32 of the pressing body 30 presses the outer surface of the crimping piece 3 of the first member 1. . At the same time, the pressing ridge 34 of the pressing body 30 abuts on the leading edge of the caulking piece 3, and the tapered surface 36 connects the leading edge of the caulking piece 3 and the second member 10 adjacent thereto along the longitudinal direction. Apply bending force to bend by pressing downward. Since the tip of the lower swaging piece 4 is shorter by several millimeters, the edge of the swaging piece 3 can be bent. The amount of deformation due to the bending force is set to be larger than the state in which the deformation is flat as shown by the broken line in the figure in consideration of the amount of return due to springback. Further, it is necessary to prevent the leading edge of the caulking piece 3 from being turned up, so that no gap is formed between the caulking piece 3 and the second member 10. Therefore, the height of the pressing ridge 34,

When the punch 20 is raised, FIG.
As shown in (C), the second member 10 is caulked with respect to the first member 1 in a state where the surface direction is parallel and there is no deformation or distortion near the caulking portion 9. Further, FIG.
As shown in (D), at the end of the second member 10, in the caulking bent portion 12, near the step 5 a on the opening side of the caulking receiving groove 5, along the step 5 a. A substantially right-angled biting portion 14 is formed over a predetermined length. Therefore, the caulking portion 9 is separated from the two members 1 and 10 by the end portion of the second member 10 being compressed by the first member 1 and in contact with the surface thereof, and by the hooking by the biting portion 14. Of course, there is no backlash or gap. By repeatedly performing such a caulking method at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of both members 1 and 10, the long members 1 and 10 can be firmly connected over the entire length.

FIG. The punch 20 is formed by cutting SK-3, and quenching and tempering the punch portion 22 to give a predetermined hardness (HRC 45 to 50). The angle of the tip of the punch portion 22 is in a range of about 40 to 70 degrees, and the sharp tip portion has a hemispherical shape with a radius of several millimeters. Such a hemispherical shape prevents the crimping piece 3 of the first member 1 or the end of the second member 10 from breaking through when the crimping method is carried out, thereby preventing a predetermined deformation. That's why. Conversely, if the radius of the hemispherical shape is excessively large, the predetermined deformation cannot be obtained, so that the thickness of the caulking piece 3 of the first member 1, the width dimension of the caulking receiving groove 5,
Alternatively, it is necessary to consider the thickness of the second member 10.

And a second member 10 formed of a plate member fixed between the members 51 by caulking and connecting the two members 51. The first member 51 has a vertical piece 53 suspended from the center of a horizontal piece 52 at the upper and lower ends, a concave groove 54 similar to the above at the tip of the vertical piece 53, and a long caulking piece on both sides of the concave groove 54. 55 and a short caulking receiving piece 56. In addition, a caulking receiving groove 57 is also provided on the inner side surface of the caulking receiving piece 56 on the concave groove 54 side.
Having. First, the concave grooves 54 of the respective members 51 are opposed to each other, and the upper and lower ends of the second member 10 which is vertical in the longitudinal direction are inserted into the respective concave grooves 54. Then, the member 51 and the member 10 are restrained by the receiving die 39, and the punch 20 and the pressing body 30 are approached from the side of the caulking piece 55, and the punch part 2
2 is pressed from the outer surface of the caulking piece 55, and the caulking piece 55 is pressed.
Then, a horizontal caulking convex portion 58 is formed. At the same time, the caulking bent portion 12 is formed at the end of the adjacent member 10 so as to protrude into the caulking receiving groove 57, and the caulking portion 59 which is vertically symmetrical with respect to the point is obtained. At this time, the swaging receiving groove 5 of the swaging bent portion 12 is used.
In the vicinity of the step on the tip side of 7, a right-angled biting portion 14 is also formed. The upper and lower caulking portions 59 of the I-shaped beam 50 are
Although they are opposite to each other, they are in the same direction if the pair of members 51 are arranged to face each other so that the cross sections are line-symmetric with each other, and the above-described caulking operation can be performed from only one side. Such a beam 50 is formed by the pressing body 30 and the pressing ridge 34 even if the member 10 is deformed by caulking.
Since such deformation is shaped, there is no gap and the appearance is good. Moreover, since the two members 51 and 10 are fixed by caulking in the correct direction continuously in the longitudinal direction, the intended design strength can be obtained. In particular, in addition to the concave and convex fitting of the caulking convex portion 58 and the caulking bent portion 12, since the bite portion 14 is formed in each caulking portion 59 by a predetermined length, the first member 51 to the second member 10 are formed. Has a sufficient resistance to the force that attempts to disengage it. In the caulking operation, caulking can be performed continuously using the roll-shaped caulking device 40.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. For example, the first member is desirably an extruded profile made of an aluminum alloy. However, if it is possible to similarly form the concave groove, the long and short flanges, and the lateral groove at the end, an aluminum alloy,
A material obtained by bending a plate of steel, stainless steel, or the like can also be used. As the second member, not only a flat plate or a corrugated plate of aluminum alloy, steel, stainless steel or the like, but also a vinyl chloride steel plate, a galvanized steel plate, an embossed plate, a corrugated plate thereof, or an extruded member can be used. The punch portion shape of the punch other than a cone, as a ridge having a triangular cross section along the longitudinal direction of the end of the first member, so as to form a crimping convex portion and a crimping bent portion of a predetermined length. Is also good. In this case, since the biting portion and the bending deformation portion of the caulking piece are also formed continuously in the longitudinal direction, it is possible to obtain a caulking portion having higher strength. The structural material obtained by such caulking is also used for the beam 5
The 0 and hollow structural members 70 can be used by standing vertically in a vertical direction such as a pillar or a stud or the like. Further, it is also possible to arrange the shape members at the four corners and fix the four plate materials therebetween by caulking. According to such a structure, by selecting the width dimension of the plate material, a hollow structural material having an arbitrary size can be obtained. Can be obtained.

As described above, according to the caulking structure and method of the present invention, the caulking of two members, such as a profile and a plate, is reduced by shaping near the caulking portion to reduce deformation and distortion. There is no gap between the two members. Therefore,
It is possible to form a caulked portion having an accurate fit as intended and a strength based on the fit. In particular, if the bite portion is formed together, it is possible to more strongly resist the force for separating both members. In the caulking device of the present invention, if the shape of the first member is predetermined, the caulking structure can be reliably obtained with a simple configuration. In particular, when using a rotary device in which the driving body has a roll shape, the caulking operation is performed along the longitudinal direction of the first member.
It can be performed continuously and accurately. When the first member is formed of an extruded aluminum alloy, the shape of the crimped portion can be accurately formed, and a free and complicated cross-sectional shape can be easily obtained. Etc. can be provided.
