2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional bathtub, the height of the bathtub edge on the entrance side is usually constant, and the upper surface of the bathtub edge is also uniformly flat. Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 3-27788 discloses a method in which a stool is placed on the edge of a bath tub and the stool is entered into the bath tub. However, even if you sit on the edge of the bathtub, place your feet one foot at a time on the upper surface of the bathtub, and straddle the edge of the bathtub into the bathtub, the height of the bathtub edge is constant. I had to raise it and straddle it. Therefore, it is conceivable to provide a concave portion on the upper surface of the bathtub edge so that the foot does not need to be raised high. Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 61-55368 discloses a bathtub having a concave portion on the upper surface of the bathtub edge. The bathtub is provided with a concave portion to limit the location of spilling water. However, the concave portion is not provided in consideration of ease of operation.

Therefore, in this bath tub, the concave portion is not shaped so as to be comfortable when straddling or to rest the foot. Even if you put it on the rim upper surface and straddle the bathtub edge and enter the bathtub, the burden on the thighs and abdominal muscles is very large,
In addition, it is difficult to rest the feet from when the feet reach the bottom of the bathtub from the washing place, and the operation is dangerous and burdensome especially for the elderly and the disabled.

In the case of a human between 0 cm and 190 cm, the angle range for easily falling downward without forcibly lifting the foot from the knee starting point A is 15 degrees or more and 30 degrees or less (FIG. 2 BAC), and the length equivalent to the lower leg It is 35cm or more 50 (as shown in Fig. 2 side AC)
cm or less. The lowering angle of the lower leg should be limited to a maximum of 30 degrees because it is desirable to reduce the spillage of the hot water as much as possible when immersing or soaking in water. Limited to. In addition, the depression angle (ABC in FIG. 2) of the other inclined portion with respect to the upper surface of the bathtub edge is set to be larger than 0 degree and 90 degrees or less corresponding to the movable angle of the ankle. Here, if the angle is larger than 90 degrees, the feet must be bent forward, and the muscles of the shin and the ankles must be strained. Also, 0
If it is lower than the degree, the shape of the concave portion will not be obtained. However, when sitting on the left side of the edge of the bathtub on the near side, it shall be symmetrical as described above.

Further, in the bathtub according to the second aspect, when the user sits on the edge of the bathtub and extends his / her feet on the upper surface of the bathtub edge, a concave portion is provided on the upper surface of the bathtub edge corresponding to the position of the heel, and the depth of the concave portion is one. The bathtub has a size of not less than 0.5 cm and not more than 8.0 cm, and the horizontal length of the concave portion is not less than 5.0 cm and not more than 15 cm. Here, the horizontal length of the concave portion refers to the length of a concave cutout formed on the upper surface of the bathtub edge. However, when the concave portion is formed by a gentle surface, for example, in the case of a chamfered concave portion, the horizontal length of the concave portion is assumed to be a concave portion formed by a straight line before chamfering, and the concave portion is formed. The length is horizontal. In the case of two recesses, FIG.
Defines the horizontal length of the recess. Even if the number of steps is further increased, the horizontal length of the concave portion in contact with the heel portion is defined as the horizontal length of the concave portion as shown in FIG.

The reason for limiting the numerical value of claim 2 will be described.
In FIG. 3, a recess corresponding to the shape and size of a heel of a human having a height of about 150 cm to 190 cm is provided where the heel contacts the upper surface of the bathtub edge. (FIG. 3 shows a case where the user sits on the right edge.) Here, the depth of the recess is limited to 1.5 cm or more as the depth to which the heel falls easily, and the length of the recess is The horizontal length is limited to 5.0 cm or more and 15 cm or less. Here, if it is less than 5.0 cm, the heel cannot easily enter. Since the depth of a general bathtub is around 60 cm, if the depth of the concave portion is too deep to be 8.0 cm or more, the hot water is easily spilled when hot water is immersed or soaked, and the condition is poor. Further, the depth of the concave portion is limited to 8.0 cm or less, since it is sufficient that the lifting operation of the thigh is easy and the depth is large enough to accommodate the heel. The depth of the recess is preferably as small as possible and the heel can be easily accommodated. Therefore, the depth of the recess is more preferably 1.5 cm or more and 6.0 cm or less.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the bathtub is provided with a concave portion on the upper surface of the bathtub edge on the entrance side, and has at least two inclined portions. The depression angle (FIG. 2BAC) of the one inclined portion of the concave portion with respect to the upper surface of the bathtub edge is 15 degrees or more and 30 degrees or less, and the length of the inclined portion (side AC in FIG. 2) is 35 cm or more and 50 cm or less. The depression angle of the other inclined portion with respect to the upper surface of the bathtub edge (ABC in FIG. 2) is set to be larger than 0 degree and 90 degrees or less. This eliminates the need for a person having a height of about 150 cm to about 190 cm to raise the knees, lower legs, and heels to the height of the bathtub when sitting in and out of the bathtub. In addition, since the concave portion has a shape along the foot, it is easy to rest the lifted foot in the concave portion. Therefore, getting in and out of the bathtub becomes very easy. In particular, the elderly and the disabled can easily enter and exit the bathtub.
