Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stress from being added to a member for supporting a connecting terminal by superposing an insulating material-made reinforcing plate having a terminal insert hole for inserting the connecting terminal of a battery connector on the terminal protruding surface of the battery connector. SOLUTION: When a battery 1 is connected to an electric equipment 16, a battery connector 5 having a reinforcing plate 12 put thereon is drawn out of a battery housing recessed part 18, and the battery 1 is housed in the recessed part 18 after the male and female battery terminals 3, 4 of the battery 1 are fitted to the female and male connecting terminals 8, 7 of the connector 5, respectively. At this time, the plate 12 formed of a flexible sheet material larger than the end surface 2 of the battery is deflected along the inner surface so as not to obstruct it. To remove the battery 1, it is drawn out of the recessed part 18 as it is, and the plate 12 is held to release the fitting between the terminals 3, 8 and 4, 7. Since the member for supporting the terminals 7, 8 is not directly held, the danger of dropping-out of the terminal by stress is eliminated.

By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional battery connector a, when the battery 1 is detached from the battery connector a, the outer shape of the battery connector a is changed to one end face 2 of the battery 1.
Because of the smaller size, there is a problem that it is difficult to grasp the battery connector a and the operation is difficult. In addition, since a force is applied to peel the mounting plate b from the battery 1 through the outer skin g of the battery connector a, stress is applied to a portion of the mounting plate b where the connection terminals c and d are caulked, and the connection terminals c and d is the mounting plate b

The reinforcing plate 12 is made of a flexible sheet material,
For example, it is formed of a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sheet having a thickness of 0.1 mm. The shape of the reinforcing plate 12 is substantially rectangular, and the size thereof is larger than the size of the one end face 2 from which the battery terminals 3 and 4 of the battery 1 are projected, that is, the size of the terminal projecting face.

The reinforcing plate 12 has terminal insertion holes 13.
And a cord insertion hole 14 are formed. Terminal insertion hole 13
Is formed horizontally long, as if the keyhole was knocked down. That is, the small diameter portion 13a includes a small diameter portion 13a and a large diameter portion 13b having a diameter larger than the width of the small diameter portion 13a. The width of the small diameter portion 13a is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the male connection terminal 7, and the diameter of the large diameter portion 13b is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the base 8a of the female connection terminal 8. Have been. Since the outer diameter of the open end 8b of the female connection terminal 8 is larger than that of the base 8a, the diameter of the large diameter portion 13b is smaller than the outer diameter of the open end 8b of the female connection terminal 8. The cords 9 and 10 are connected to the reinforcing plate 12.
, And the two connection terminals 7 and 8 are inserted into the terminal insertion holes 13. That is, the male connection terminal 7 is inserted into the small diameter portion 13 a of the terminal insertion hole 13,
The female connection terminal 8 is inserted through the large diameter portion 13b. When the female connection terminal 8 is inserted into the large-diameter portion 13b, since the reinforcing plate 12 is formed of a flexible sheet material, the open end of the connection terminal 8 having an outer diameter larger than the diameter of the large-diameter portion 13b. 8b can pass through the large diameter portion 13b. When the two connection terminals 7 and 8 are inserted through the terminal insertion holes 13, the opening ends 8b of the connection terminals 8 having an outer diameter larger than the diameter of the large diameter portion 13b are prevented from coming off. In this way,
The reinforcing plate 12 is located in a state of being superimposed on the terminal protruding surface 15 of the battery connector 5. In this embodiment, the terminal insertion hole 13 is formed as one in which the small-diameter portion 13a and the large-diameter portion 13b are connected in a keyhole shape. May be formed.

6 (not shown). When the battery 1 is connected to the electric device 16, the battery connector 5 on which the reinforcing plate 12 is superimposed is pulled out of the battery housing recess 18, and in this state, the male battery terminal 3 of the battery 1 is connected to the battery. The female connection terminal 8 of the connection tool 5 is fitted in an inner fitting manner, and the female battery terminal 4 is fitted in the male connection terminal 7 in an outer fitting manner. Then, the battery 1 is stored in the battery storage recess 18. At this time,
Although the outer shape of the reinforcing plate 12 is formed larger than the outer shape of the one end face 2 of the battery 1, since the reinforcing plate 12 is formed of a flexible sheet material, the reinforcing plate 12 bends along the inner surface of the battery housing concave portion 18, Therefore, the reinforcing plate 12 does not hinder the storage of the battery 1 in the narrow battery storage recess 18.

When the battery 1 is removed, the battery 1 is pulled out from the inside of the battery accommodating recess 18, and a force is applied so that the battery 1 and the reinforcing plate 12 are gripped while the battery 1 is pulled off. The fitting of the battery connector 5 with the connection terminals 7 and 8 can be released. In this case, since the outer shape of the reinforcing plate 12 is formed larger than the outer shape of the one end surface 2 which is the terminal arrangement surface of the battery 1, it is easy to hold the reinforcing plate 12. Can be easily removed. When the outer shape of the reinforcing plate is smaller than or approximately the same as the outer shape of the one end face 2 of the battery 1, the tongue-shaped gripping piece 20 is projected as shown in FIG.
The battery 1 may be removed by holding 0.

When the battery 1 is removed, the reinforcing plate 12 is gripped and the battery connector 5 is not directly gripped.
There is no stress applied to the battery connector 5, particularly the portion of the mounting plate 6 supporting the connection terminals 7, 8, and there is no possibility that the connection terminals 7, 8 drop off from the mounting plate 6.

Further, as described above, the cord insertion holes 14 are formed in the reinforcing plate 12 and the cords 9 and 10 are inserted through the cord insertion holes 14 so that the terminal insertion holes 13 are formed.
Can be prevented from being lost even if the reinforcing plate 12 may come off the connection terminals 7 and 8. When the cords 9 and 10 are inserted through the reinforcing plate 12 as described above, if the reinforcing plate 12 is formed of a flexible sheet material as described above,
10 will not be damaged. Of course, the object of the present invention can be sufficiently achieved even when the cord insertion hole is not formed in the reinforcing plate, and such a thing is, of course, within the technical scope of the present invention. is there.
