Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a slalom course and the like by embedding a number of water jetting nozzles scatteringly in a pool facility for surfing where a water film is flowed on the runway surface with a downward slope and by blowing up water from a particular pair of neighboring nozzles. SOLUTION: A runway 10 has a slope from the upstream side at the left to the downstream side at the right, and raised mounds are located arbitrarily on a flat land. Water is discharged from a head box 11 to the top of the mound provided at the one side of upper left, and water is flowed to the full width of runway surface. Water in a water catchment gutter 13 is pumped up to a head box 11 by a circulating pipe 15 and circulating pump P1. At the runway surface 10, a number of water jetting nozzles 19... are embedded scatteringly. Upper end of each water jetting nozzle 19 is made flush with the surface of the runway surface 10 or slightly lower. Water in the water catchment gutter 13 is supplied to the header 21 through a water supply pipe 20 and a pump P2 and then supplied to each water jetting nozzle 19 through a branch pipe 22 having an ON-OFF and continuous opening adjust valve V. By doing this, a new pleasure can be added to the surfing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS In the illustrated embodiment, reference numeral 10 denotes a large sliding surface made of concrete inclined downward from upper left to lower right, reference numeral 11 denotes a head box provided on the upper left to allow water to flow on the sliding surface, and reference numeral 13 denotes a head box. Is a water collecting groove for collecting water flowing down the sliding surface, and the water flowing down the sliding surface can be adjusted by a gate 12 for adjusting an opening of a drain port 11 ′ of the head box 11. Further, the water that has flowed down to the lower end of the sliding surface flows into the water collecting groove 13 from the grating 14 connected to the lower end of the sliding surface.

The water in the water collecting groove 13 is pumped to the head box 11 by the circulation pipe 15 and the circulation pump P1, and is used for circulation. Reference numeral 16 denotes an enclosing wall for preventing water from being discharged from around the running surface 10.

[0008] The running surface 10 is inclined downward from the upper left to the lower right as described above, but there are raised mounds (high) in the flat ground (low), and the mound and the flat ground are flat. The terrain is connected by a hill (middle) descending toward. This terrain can be arbitrarily designed. In the illustrated embodiment, the headbox 11 drains water onto a mound provided on one side of the upper left, and flows over the entire width of the running surface. The person who slides on the surfboard 17 climbs the stairs 18 and stands on the mound (starting stand) on the other side on the upper left, and slides from here.

A large number of fountain nozzles 19 are buried in the running surface 10 in a dispersed manner. The upper end of each fountain nozzle is flush with the surface of the running surface or is buried slightly lower than the surface of the running surface so as not to hinder the sliding of the surfboard. Each fountain nozzle 19 is supplied with water in the water collecting groove 13 by the water supply pipe 2.

[0010] The fountain nozzles are preferably arranged with an interval at which the surfboard 17 can slide between adjacent ones. Thereby, water is spouted from a plurality of pairs of fountain nozzles adjacent to each other to make it look like a gate of a ski slalom, and a slalom course shown by a broken line in FIG. 1 (A) is formed on a sliding surface. Down the surfboard along this course, you can enjoy the same competition as ski slalom. By changing the pair of fountains that blow up water, various courses with different degrees of difficulty can be easily formed.

Of course, by stopping the fountains from all the fountain nozzles, conventional surfing can be performed, and water can be blown up from a plurality of specific fountain nozzles, and the water can be slid down to avoid the fountains. You can also enjoy the water view from the fountain nozzle by blowing water up and down in tune with the music.

As is apparent from the above, according to the present invention, water can be blown up from a fountain nozzle buried in a surfing sliding surface, so that the surfer can enjoy skiing other than surfing.
