Claims (2)
透明基板をそれら透明電極同士を対向させシール材を介
して張り合わせ、その内部に形成されたセル内に液晶を
封入してなる液晶表示パネルと、液晶駆動用電子部品が
実装されているとともに、一方の端縁側に上記液晶表示
パネルの表示信号入力端子群に接続される表示信号出力
端子群を備え、他方の端縁側に上記電子部品に対する制
御信号入力端子群が形成された駆動回路基板と、その制
御信号入力端子群に対して膜厚方向にのみ導電性を有す
る異方性導電膜を介して電気的に接続される制御信号出
力端子群を有する制御バス基板とを備えている液晶表示
装置において、上記制御バス基板と上記駆動回路基板の
各端子群形成面側には、位置合わせ用のダミー電極がそ
れぞれ形成されているとともに、上記駆動回路基板には
そのダミー電極の一部分を反端子群形成面側に露出させ
る開口部が設けられていることを特徴とする液晶表示装
置。1. A liquid crystal comprising a pair of transparent substrates each having a transparent electrode formed on one surface thereof, bonded to each other via a sealing material with the transparent electrodes facing each other, and enclosing a liquid crystal in a cell formed therein. A display panel and electronic components for driving liquid crystal are mounted, and a display signal output terminal group connected to a display signal input terminal group of the liquid crystal display panel is provided on one edge side, and the electronic component is provided on the other edge side. A drive circuit board on which a control signal input terminal group for a component is formed, and a control signal electrically connected to the control signal input terminal group via an anisotropic conductive film having conductivity only in a film thickness direction. In a liquid crystal display device including a control bus board having an output terminal group, a dummy electrode for positioning is formed on each of the terminal group forming surfaces of the control bus board and the drive circuit board. And a drive circuit board provided with an opening for exposing a part of the dummy electrode on the side opposite to the terminal group formation surface.
