Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make nail clipping with smaller number of clippings, with reduced pains, and with fine finishing, by furnishing nail clippers with three-dimensional blades to suit the section shape of nail, allowing the blades to approach and separate approx. parallel in the plane perpendicular to the direction in which the nail elongates, and thereby liberating the nail from unnatural elastic deformation at the time of being clipped. The blades are coupled together by a rod 7, and on the oversurface a cam-equipped lever 10 is pivoted which works also as a file 11, and they are arranged so as to approach and separate approx. parallel in the plane perpendicular to the direction in which the nail elongates. Thereby the nail is liberated from unnatural elastic deformation at the time of being clipped, and the nail clipping can be performed with smaller number of clippings, with reduced pains, and with fine finishing.
