Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently lubricate a bearing on the end of a counter shaft by arranging an oil delivery hole which opens toward the bearing on the oil pump side end of the counter shaft and supplies a part of delivery oil to the bearing, in a delivery side passage of an oil pump. SOLUTION: A counter shaft 1 is rotatably journalled to a gear case 2 through a bearing 4. An oil pump 3 driven by a counter shaft 1 is installed in a gear case 2 in front of the counter shaft 1. The oil pump 3 sucks oil in a suction passage 5 through an oil sucking pipe in the gear case 2, and supplies the oil to respective oil feeding parts by a delivery passage 6. Here, an oil delivery hole 7 to supply a part of delivery oil to the bearing 4 is arranged in a delivery side passage of the oil pump 3. The oil delivery hole 7 is opened in a wall surface of an oil storage part 3a on the delivery side of the oil pump. Lubricating ability of the bearing is secured by this constitution, and a rise in an oil temperature is restrained, and an oil cooler can be reduced in the size or abolished.

When the transmission is mounted on the vehicle, the front side where the oil pump 3 is installed is inclined upward as shown in FIG. Therefore, the oil is horizontal in the inclined gear case 1 and the oil temperature can be lowered by lowering the oil level OL.
The bearing 4 at the end on the side of the oil pump 3 is not immersed in oil, and poor lubrication occurs. In order to solve this problem, the oil level OL is increased so that the droplets sufficiently reach each oil supply unit. However, since the oil temperature rises, a large oil cooler is provided to lower the oil temperature. Therefore, there is a problem that not only the installation space for the oil cooler is required but also the cost is high.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an oil pump driven by a counter shaft to suck oil in a gear case and supply oil to each oil supply unit. In the transmission, an oil discharge hole is provided in a discharge-side flow path of the oil pump, the oil discharge hole being open toward a bearing at an end of the counter shaft on the oil pump side and supplying a part of discharge oil to the bearing. It is assumed that.

Since the present invention is configured as described above, when the operation of the transmission is started, the rotation input from the input shaft (not shown) is transmitted to the countershaft 1 via the constant gear and the counter shaft drive gear. The oil pump 3 is transmitted by the counter shaft 1 and is transmitted.

At this time, a part of the oil discharged from the oil discharge hole 7 formed in the wall of the oil reservoir 3a on the discharge side of the oil pump 1
The oil is discharged toward the bearing 4 at the side end, and the bearing 4 is forcibly lubricated.

Therefore, as shown in FIG.
Even if the oil level OL is lowered, the lubrication of the bearing 4 is ensured. Also, by lowering the oil level OL, the agitation resistance of the gear is reduced to suppress an increase in the oil temperature, and the oil cooler is reduced in size or eliminated. It becomes possible.

As described above, according to the present invention, the discharge side flow path of the oil pump driven by the counter shaft is opened toward the bearing at the oil pump side end of the counter shaft, and a part of the discharge oil is discharged. Since the oil discharge hole for supplying to the bearing is provided, lubrication of the bearing is ensured even if the oil level in the gear case is lowered, and an increase in the oil temperature is suppressed by lowering the oil level. Has the advantage that it can be reduced in size or eliminated.
