2. Description of the Related Art FIGS. 6 to 6 show an example of a conventional on-vehicle reactor cooled by a fluid such as air or oil.
8 will be described. 6 is a cross-sectional view of a cylindrical reactor, FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view in the direction of arrows AA in FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 is a detailed view of a support bracket. 6 to 8, when the coil is wound around the first layer 1a of the insulated wire conductor, the spacer 6 is arranged at an appropriate location on the outer periphery in the axial direction of the coil, and then the second layer 1b And the bolt 3 is arranged. The third layer 1c is wound around this outer periphery, and the spacer 6 is arranged. This is repeated a predetermined number of times to form the coil 1. Next, reactor support fittings 5 and 5 are arranged at predetermined positions between the coils of the respective layers through heat-resistant and insulating suppressing plates 4 at both ends of the coil 1 and an insulating coil protection tube 2 outside the coil 1 to pass through bolts. 3 to fix the reactor coil. As shown in FIG.
A notch 5a is provided so that a plurality of protrusions 3b having a hole 3a through which a hole is formed are provided inside, so as to provide a passage for cooling air or oil. The coil protection cylinder 2 disposed on the outer periphery of the coil is provided in order to prevent the fluid for cooling from leaking to the outside and to prevent the coil from being damaged by flying stones while the vehicle is traveling. Is required to be a cylinder, and since it requires strength, a glass cloth impregnated with a resin and molded and cured is generally used. Therefore, the manufacturing period is long and very expensive.

In order to achieve the object, a conductor is wound a plurality of times in the axial direction, and a plurality of spacers are inserted into gaps between the respective layers to form gaps in the respective layers. Maintain the interval, and insert the coil into the gap between the layers by inserting a plurality of bolts and tightening and fixing the support to the metal fittings provided with oil flow ports on both sides. And a metal tube is disposed and fixed between the support fittings.

In some cases, a slit is provided in the metallic cylinder in the axial direction. Further, one portion of the metal cylinder is cut in the axial direction, the cut portion is bent outward to form a brim, and a spacer of insulating material is sandwiched between the bent gaps and fixed with bolts. In the reactor configured as described above, by making the coil protection tube metallic, processing is facilitated, the manufacturing period is shortened, and the price is reduced. Also, when a current containing an AC component flows through the coil, a current flows in the circumferential direction of the metal coil protection tube as a circuit, and the coil protection tube overheats or the characteristics of the reactor deteriorate. Cut out the cylinder. Even in this case, the production period is shorter than before,
Price can be reduced.
