【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の一実施の形態を図
１〜図４を用いて説明する。乗客コンベア１の一方の乗
降口付近を水平投影視した図１において、建屋床に連な
る固定体の乗降床２、合成樹脂製のくし板３、動く踏板
４で通行路を形成し、この踏板４の両側のハンドレール
５、欄干６で側壁を構成している。さらに、踏板４の表
面には、それの全個数あるいは数個飛びに乗客が正しく
立つべき位置に足型マークの模様（図には左右に２人立
ち分を示す）の表示体７が設けられている。そして、こ
の表示体７は、図２と図３に示したように、踏板４の表
面の一方向に有する多数の細長い溝４Ａの底面に沿って
短柵状の表示体片７Ａ（表示体７はこれの集合体であ
る）を備えており、これの長手方向の端部は図２に示す
ように踏板４と表面形状が同一で、長さＬの踏板４の両
端に配設された長さＬ１、Ｌ２の端部踏板片４Ｂをビス
（図示省略）等で締付けることにより踏板４の一部に圧
着固定されている。なお、上記表示片７Ａは、溝底面に
沿って長く連続して彩色してあるので、その模様の視認
性を高める効果がある。さらに、乗降床２と踏板４との
境界には、踏板４の全幅方向で複数個に分割され、図４
に示すように深さＨ（図３）の溝４Ａに噛み合うように
下向きに突出する歯先３Ａを有するくし板３が配設され
ている。このくし板３は、表示片７Ａと歯底３ａの隙間
がｔｂ、表示片７Ａのない所の溝底面と歯底３ｂの隙間
がｔｃ（ｔｂ≒ｔｃ）で両歯底３ａ、３ｂには高低差ｔ
ａ（実質的に、図３に示した表示片７Ａの板厚ｔ相当）
が設けられ、この分だけ薄い薄歯３ｃを有している。そ
して、この高低差ｔａが存在しない場合には、隙間ｔｃ
を板厚ｔ分だけ減じてしまうことになり、この狭くなっ
た隙間に小石などの異物が侵入して強く狭まったとき
に、合成樹脂製であって強度的に弱い歯先３Ａの破損を
招くことになるが、図４における本発明の構成では隙間
ｔｂ、ｔｃが一定に確保されて上記不具合を排除するも
