Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of evaporating area of water in an evaporator and improve ice making efficiency by a method wherein a vibration generating member is arranged under a water level in the main body of a vessel, filled with refrigerant solution or water, to provide the water with vibration, in the evaporator of an ice making device, making ice employing an absorption type refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: In an ice making device, employing an absorption type refrigerating cycle, ice, obtained in an evaporator 1, is guided as slurry while a cold water supplying pipeline is connected to a heat transfer tube, arranged in an ice storage tank, reserving the ice, to supply cold water, having a temperature near 0 deg.C, to a place, demanding the cold water. In this case, an ultrasonic vibrator 11 is attached to the bottom wall unit 2a of main body 2 of a vessel for the evaporator 1, an ultrasonic wave oscillator 12, driving the ultrasonic vibrator 11, is attached to the outside of the vessel main body 2 and vibration generators 13 are attached to the plurality of places of the outer surface of side wall unit 2b of the vessel main body 2.
