Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 従来の歯磨剤と同様の使用法で、目に見えに
くかった歯垢が染色され歯みがきの途中もしくは終了時
に、磨き残された歯垢の有無を確認することができる。
そしてその染色部分がなくなるまで磨くことで、完全な
歯垢除去を実現する。 【構成】 歯磨剤に、歯垢染色性成分を加える。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】歯みがきとは、歯についた歯垢を落とすこ
とが第一の目的である。本発明は、歯みがきの際、歯垢
を染色し、磨くべきところを一目瞭然とすることで、合
理的かつ効果的なブラッシングを容易にするものであ
る。
【０００２】従来の歯磨剤を用いた歯みがきでは、磨く
という行為のみが重要視され、磨けているかどうかは分
からず、よく磨いているつもりでも、虫歯や歯周病にか
かることが多かった。また、市販の歯垢染色剤を用いる
場合も、綿球などを用いて染色検査を行った後で歯みが
きを行うため、方法の面倒さに加え、時間的負担も大き
かった。これらのことから、容易かつ効果的な歯みがき
法が必要とされていた。
【０００３】本発明は、歯磨剤に歯垢染色性を付与する
ことにより、従来の歯磨剤と同様の使用法で、歯垢の付
着場所や量を目で確認しながら、歯みがきが行えるよう
にしたものである。また、検査と歯みがきが一体化した
ため、気軽に検査を兼ねた歯みがきが行え、染色された
部分のみを磨くこともでき、合理的な歯垢除去が可能と
なった。
【０００４】本発明は、表１に示すように、基本的には
一般的な歯磨剤を構成する基本成分と歯垢染色性成分か
らなる。この歯垢染色性成分が歯垢を染色する。

【０００６】本発明により、毎日の歯みがきの習慣の中
で、実際に本人の目で歯垢の付着状況を確認して歯口清
掃を実行できるため、歯科医院においてブラッシング指
導を受けるのと同等の効果を、手軽に家庭で、ブラッシ
ングと同時に得られる。
