Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem of difficulty in removing plaque, damage to a gum and the like by a method wherein a neck between a head and a handle is angled at a head rear end part, and then, bent backward to make the handle parallel with the head so that a bristle part easily fits teeth in brushing. SOLUTION: A neck 3 with a reduced width is mounted at the rear end of a head 2 with bristles 1 planted thereon and a thicker handle 4 is mounted on the rear end. Preferably, a number of grooves 5 are arranged on the outer circumference of the neck 3 to make the neck 3 easily bendable at a proper position. Thus, the neck 3 is angled to be hindered from contacting teeth thereby allowing the bristle part 1 to better fit a gum.
