Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly heat-insulate the inside of housing corresponding to the kind of meals housed in the housing and the using state of the meal serving vehicle in the meal serving vehicle utilized for carrying meals. SOLUTION: This meal serving vehicle is equipped with the housing 4 at the upper part of an undercarriage 1 and a cold reserving room 9 and a heat insulated room 10 divided by a barrier plate 5 are provided inside the housing 4. A duct 15 the both upper and lower tip parts of which is freely opened and closed is provided at the room 10, and a fan 16 is provided at the upper part of the duct 15. In addition a heater is incorporated in the duct 15 and the inside of the duct 15 is a radiant surface consisting of an infrared panel. Then the fan 16 is operated in the state of sealing both upper and lower tip parts of the duct 15 and the heater is heated at the same time so that infrared rays are emitted from the radiant surface to keep the heat within the heat insulated room 10 and when the both upper and lower tip parts of the duct 15 are opened, the heat in the room 10 is kept by warm air.

Each of the slide plates 26 and 27 is a long and narrow plate having grip portions 28 and 29 at one end, and has through holes 26a and 27a corresponding to the intake port 17 and the exhaust port 18 in the longitudinal direction. . In particular, those slide plates 2
The push-in positions of the suction ports 6 and 27 are determined by the engagement between the supports and the holding sections 28 and 29.
7 and the through hole 26a, and the exhaust port 18 and the through hole 27a communicate with each other or shield each other. When the slide plates 26 and 27 are slightly pulled out from that state, the intake port 1
7 and the through hole 26a, and the exhaust port 18 and the through hole 27a are shielded or communicated with each other. Accordingly, the operation of the slide plates 26 and 27 is slightly performed, so that
The opening and closing of the exhaust port 18 improves the operability, and the slide plate 2 when opening and closing the intake port 17 and the exhaust port 18.

As is apparent from FIG. 3, the heater 23 is provided near the wall surface of the vertical portion 15A. The inside of the duct 15, particularly the inner surface of the vertical portion 15A, is a radiation surface 30 which is heated by the heater 23 and emits thermal radiation. The radiation surface 30 is a far-infrared panel formed by sintering a ceramic on the surface of a stainless steel plate, and according to this far-infrared panel, emits far-infrared rays as thermal radiation when heated. Therefore, the table stored in the heat insulation room can be appropriately kept warm by the radiant heat. Note that the entire inner surface of the duct 15 including the inner surface of the horizontal portion 15B may be a radiation surface. Here, although not shown in the figure,
A heat insulating material such as glass wool is provided between the outer surface facing the radiation surface 30 and the heater 23 to prevent heat conduction to the outside. The heater 23 is a sheathed heater in which a heating wire that generates heat by energization is housed in a tubular body. Good.

FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along the line XX in FIG. 2. From this figure, it can be seen that there is a required gap between the heater 23 and the duct 15 so that the air flow is not hindered. FIG. 5 shows the inside of the lower end of the duct 15 in an enlarged manner. As shown in this figure, the support of the slide plate 27 for opening and closing the exhaust port 18 is constituted by angle plates 31 fixed to both the inner and outer surfaces of the duct 15. The angle plate 31 slidably supports both side edges of the slide plate 27, and the slide plate 26 of the intake port 17 is slidably supported by a similar support.

The humidifying section 33 is, for example, a dish-shaped metal container having a high heat conductivity and having an open upper surface. The humidifying section 33 has a heater panel 34 provided on the lower surface of the heat retaining chamber 10 with water contained therein. Installed in In particular, the humidifying section 33 is installed in a state close to the exhaust port 18 of the duct 15 so that the water heated by the heater panel 34 can be diffused as steam into the heat retaining chamber 10 together with the warm air flowing out of the exhaust port 18. ing. Here, the heater panel 34 is heated by energization. However, when the intake port 17 and the exhaust port 18 of the duct 15 are closed, the energization of the heater panel 34 is automatically or manually stopped. In FIG. 6,

In particular, when the heat is kept in the heat insulation room 10 by the radiant heat transfer system, the fan 16 is operated and the heater 23 is heated while the intake port 17 and the exhaust port 18 of the duct 15 are closed. Then, the air in the duct 15 is circulated by the fan 16 through the outward path 20 and the return path 21, and is heated by the heater 23 to become warm air. Therefore, the inner surface of the duct 15, that is, the radiation surface 30 is heated by the warm air and the heater 23, and emits far-infrared rays as heat radiation into the heat insulation room 10. As a result, the heat insulation room 10
The inside meal can be kept at an appropriate temperature by the radiant heat.

On the other hand, when the heat is kept by the warm air circulation system, the intake port 17 and the exhaust port 18 of the duct 15 are opened,
In addition, the heater panel 34 is energized to generate steam from the humidifier 33. In this case, the air in the heat retaining chamber 10 is sucked into the duct 15 from above by the fan 16 and
After being heated by the heater 23 inside, the exhaust port 18
It flows out into the heat insulation room 10 again. In particular, at the time of outflow, the steam in the humidifying section 33 is accompanied by high-temperature and high-humidity warm air, so that the warming room 10 is kept warm by the warm air to prevent the food from drying.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the interior of the storage can be kept warm by the radiant heat transfer system and the warm air circulation system. In accordance with the above, the heat retention method can be properly used, and furthermore, since the step of individually installing the heat retention means is not required, the productivity and the functionality of the serving car are greatly improved.

In particular, in a usage situation where the storage cabinet is frequently opened and closed, the heat loss can be prevented by selecting the radiant heat transfer method.
Further, when storing a food having a strong odor or a food which is easy to cool, for example, by selecting a warm air circulation method, the odor can be prevented from being trapped in the refrigerator and the food can be cooled quickly because the temperature reaches an appropriate temperature quickly.
