反転屈曲し、常時は凹部の円弧面に沿って位置されてお
り、使用時には僅かの引出し力によって外方に半円状に
突出する如く変形可能な帯状体又は線条体であって合成
樹脂の他ゴム或は金属板等の材料が適用できる。反転バ
ンド両端の固定手段は鋲止め又は接着等の通常の固定手
段の他、背凭れ部等の取付体がブロー成形体である場合
は凹部と共にこれらと一体成形によって埋設固定するこ
とが可能である。反転バンドの端部は直接固定してもよ
いが、バンド材料等によって或は固着強度を高めるため

とが例えば高密度ポリエチレンを材料として一体成形さ
れ、背凭れ部背面１２の片側に有底半円筒形の凹部１３
が形成されている。１３ａは円弧面、１３ｂは底部であ
って若干後方に傾斜させるのがよい。１５はカップホル
ダを構成している反転バンドである。図２は、反転バン
ド１５を背凭れ部１１及び凹部１３の成型時にインサー
ト成型によってその両端を埋設固定した場合の断面図で
あってバンド材としてポリプロピレン又はポリアセター
ル等が使用される他、弾性金属板又はゴム板等を芯材と
して任意の樹脂で被覆した複合材でもよい。反転バンド
の両端部１６は夫々凹部の両側に連接する背凭れ部背面
に埋設固定されている。１７は屈曲部の切欠である。反
転バンド１５の内周面１５ａは常時は図２（ａ）の如く
湾曲して凹部の円弧面１３ａと密接又は近接しており、
使用時は図示しない指掛などに僅かの力で引出すことに
よって（ｂ）の如く反転湾曲して円弧面１３ａと共に環
状体を形成する。ここに挿入される紙コップ等の筒状容
器２０は、その底部を凹部の底部１３ｂに支承されると
共に胴部側壁を環状体によって支持される。この状態で
は図４と同様である。凹部が有底凹部でなく無底凹部の
場合はカップ外周部の半周分が反転バンドの湾曲内周面
１５ａに支持され、他の半周分が凹部の円弧面１３ａに
支持される。容器２０を除去して反転バンドの外周面１
５ｂを押圧すると凹部内に反転湾曲して収納状態に戻
り、背面には何物も突出していないので安全且つ着座者
前方空間が確保される。図３は反転バンドの両端に補強
部材１８を固着したものであってその作用は図２のもの
と同様である。この場合においては補強部材の内端縁１
