Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give antiforgery and designing effect to a scratch-hiding part by a method wherein ink, the ink pigment of which is made of an optical variable material, is employed as the scratch ink of the scratch hiding layer part. SOLUTION: To give optical variability to a scratch hiding layer part 2, optical variable ink, in which optical variable flakes are dispersed by employing a rubber-based resin as binder, is applied into layer so as to form the scratch hiding layer part 2. In order to protect the scratch hiding layer part or the like from taking scratch or the like, an overcoating varnish layer 1 is applied over the whole surface of the scratch hiding layer part. By providing the scratch hiding layer part 2 having optical variability, the color of a sheet changes due to the change of an optical angle, resulting in facilitating the visual judgement of true or false of a scratch sheet. Further, since the normal manufacturing of the optical variable ink is difficult, the forgery of the scratch sheet becomes impossible.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional scratch concealment layer (scratch ink) used for concealing confidential information is a rubber-based resin (for example, SB) for retaining a certain amount of stickiness.
R) is a main component of an ink binder to which 20 to 30% of aluminum powder for maintaining hiding and scratching properties is added, and the ink itself can be forged relatively easily. It was also possible to temporarily peel off (scratch off) the scratch concealing layer portion of a scratch card or an instant lottery ticket using scratch ink, and read it again after reading confidential information. That is, it has been a problem to prevent the forgery of the scratch concealing layer portion such as the scratch card and the instant lottery ticket.

The optically variable material will be briefly described below. The laminated metal thin films change color depending on the viewing angle. This utilizes the optical interference technology of laminated thin films of metals having different optical refractive indexes, and it is possible to obtain thin films with various color changes depending on the combination of the type of metal, the thickness of layers, and the number of layers. . The thin film formed into flakes and dispersed in an ink binder becomes an optically variable ink whose color changes depending on the viewing angle.

As described above, the present invention has the following effects. That is, in the scratch sheet of the present invention, by providing a scratch masking layer portion having optical variability, since the color changes depending on the viewing angle, it is easy to make a genuine / counterfeit judgment visually with a conventional scratch sheet, and Counterfeiting of the scratch sheet of the present invention is not possible because general production of variable ink is difficult.
This has an excellent anti-counterfeiting effect which makes it impossible to recreate the scratch masking layer after peeling off the scratch masking layer portion of the scratch sheet of the present invention and reading the confidential information. Further, the scratch sheet of the present invention,
Since the color changes depending on the viewing angle, it has a more colorful design effect than the gray color or silver color used in the concealing layer of the conventional scratch sheet.
