Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a directivity microphone to be correctly opposed to a target with remote control by providing a camera picking up an image of the target moved in interlocking with the directivity microphone and an index to position the image picked up by the camera with the target. SOLUTION: A small sized camera 13 is fitted to a microphone main body 11 at the side of a target T and the small sized camera 13 is used to pick up the image of the target T. A traverse device 16 is used to move the directivity microphone or the like up to a desired space. Then a remote controller 15 is used to adjust remotely a motor-drive universal head 14 so that the image of the target T is displayed on a screen 18 of a monitor 17. Cross lines are in matching with the screen 18 of the monitor 17 by means of a cross line plate 19, and a focus of the directivity microphone is matched with the target T by matching the cross lines with the target T so as to maximize the sensitivity of the directivity microphone.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when the focus of a directional microphone (the maximum point of directional sensitivity) is adjusted, the focus is visually observed from the back side of a parabolic acoustic reflector. FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of a conventional device. The directional microphone includes a microphone body 41 and a parabolic acoustic reflector 42. 43 is a sighting device, 4
4 is a tripod, 45 is a sound collector, and 46 is a viewing window. When the directional microphone is focused on the sound source (target), the tripod 4 is arranged so that the target T and the sighting device 43 are aligned in a straight line by looking through the viewing window 46 from the back side of the reflector 42.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the directional characteristics of the attenuation level with respect to the angle of the reflector 42. As shown in the figure,
The sensitivity is maximized when the reflecting plate 42 is directly facing the target T, that is, when the angle is 0 degrees, and the sensitivity decreases as the angle deviates from 0 degrees. The directional characteristics change depending on the sound source frequency, but the basic characteristics show the same tendency as in FIG.

In the above-mentioned conventional apparatus,
Whenever the target T was changed, it was necessary for a person to go to the back surface of the parabolic reflector 42 and perform the adjustment work. Also, when the parabolic reflector 42 moves due to external factors or the target T moves,
Unless the target T was observed from the back of the parabolic reflector 42 through the viewing window 46, it was difficult to judge the above variation. Furthermore, when the parabolic reflector 42 is attached to the traverse device and measurement is performed in an arbitrary space, it is difficult for a person to perform adjustment work from the back of the directional microphone, and therefore the directional microphone is made to directly face the target. It was very difficult.

Cross lines are aligned on the screen 18 of the monitor 17 through a cross line plate 19, as shown in FIG.
The focus of the directional microphone is brought into alignment with the target T by aligning the cross line 18a with the target T, as shown in FIG. In this way, when the cross line 18a and the target T match, the directional microphone and the target T face each other, and the sensitivity of the directional microphone becomes maximum.
