Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture sensor for diaper capable of remarkably improving the burden on nursing of a bedridden patient by automatically rapidly informing a nursing person of a patient's excretion when the patient discharges. SOLUTION: The moisture detecting sensor has a reactive material 3, which is contracted and dissolved in reaction with water, as an insulator between an electrode 2 (+) and an electrode 4 (-), and further a structure for enclosing it by packaging materials 1, 5. When the sensor receives moisture from an opening part 7, the material 3 is reacted, contracted, and dissolved, and the resistance between the electrodes is eliminated, and a switch is electrically operated.

[Field of Use in Life] This moisture detection sensor has a structure in which a reaction material that contracts and dissolves in response to moisture is used as an insulating material between electrodes. It is a moisture detection sensor that can detect moisture due to the function of switching the electrical switch because the electric resistance of is eliminated. If this moisture detection sensor is attached to a bedridden patient's diaper, the switch function is activated by sensing the moisture of excretion. By extracting this function to the outside, it is possible to make a buzzer sound, turn on and off the lamp, and notify the monitoring display device in hospitals, etc., and promptly notify the caregiver or nurse if there is excretion in the patient. . With the invention of the water detection sensor, it is possible to automatically confirm the presence or absence of excretion by the patient, which can dramatically reduce the burden on caregivers and nurses.

[Current situation] Currently, for bedridden patients, nursing care is performed to open and close the diaper at any time of the day and night to check the patient for excretion. Occasionally, it may be left for a long time after excretion, and it is difficult to dispose of it.
This kind of situation is extremely troublesome for the caregiver, and the caregiver has a considerable burden. In particular, nursing at night is "not able to get enough sleep". In addition to physical burden, time restraint and mental burden are heavy. A support system that supports the caregiver's burden is required, but has not been developed.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] With the advent of an elderly society in Japan, the number of bedridden elderly people will increase rapidly in the future, and the age of those who care for them will increase. The foundation of social support is a social issue. At present, the reality is that diaper management is a heavy burden on caregivers. With the invention of this moisture detection sensor, a system that can easily control the presence or absence of excretion by patients can be realized. It is also avoided that they are left for a long time after excretion. Not only does it provide hygiene and good quality care to the patient, but it also eliminates the need to check the diaper from time to time, day and night. The challenge is to build a nursing care system that can be improved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a sensor for detecting water content when an excretion action is carried out by mounting the water content detection sensor in a diaper of a critically ill patient or a bedridden elderly person. The electric switch inside operates. By taking out this function to the outside, it is possible to make a buzzer sound, turn on and off the lamp, and report to the monitor display etc. in hospitals, etc. It is possible to be automatically and promptly notified to. The invention of the water detection sensor enables accurate management of patients' diapers, eliminates the need for the current nursing work to check diapers from day to night, and dramatically reduces the burden on caregivers. We will realize the age of nursing care.

1. A structure in which a reaction material that contracts and dissolves in response to water is used as an insulating material between electrodes incorporated in a sensor, and when the sensor receives water, the reaction material reacts and contracts and dissolves. By doing so, the electric resistance between the electrodes disappears, and the moisture detection sensor has the function of switching the electric switch.
