Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure connection method which prevents a conductor form being dislocated when it is pressed and connected, by a method wherein a cylindrical rigid body in a half length of a conductor sleeve is inserted into a partitionless bump-shaped conductor sleeve, the conductor is inserted from an end part on one side, and, while the sleeve is being pressed, a bump part at the conductor sleeve on a side on which the conductor is inserted is pressed. SOLUTION: A cylindrical rigid body 11 is inserted from the side of the end part 10a of a partitionless bump-shaped conductor sleeve 10. The cylindrical rigid body 11 is provided with a length which is half the total length of the conductor sleeve 10 and with an outside diameter which is slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the sleeve. Then, a conductor 2 is inserted from an end part 10b on the opposite side. While the conductor sleeve 10 is being pressed to the end part of the inserted conductor, the bump part 10b at the conductor sleeve 10 on a side on which the conductor 2 is inserted is pressed. As a result, it is possible to prevent the tip of the conductor 2 from being dislocated in the setting operation and the press operation of a pression apparatus.

As described above, when inserting and compressing the first one conductor in the conventional compression connecting work of the camel type conductor sleeve without a partition, the position of the tip of the conductor is visually checked. However, there is a problem in that the position of the tip of the conductor is misaligned during setting work or compression of the compression device because it is not mechanically fixed.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems and is for a power cable using a camel type conductor sleeve without a partition, which can surely position the tip of the conductor at the center of the camel type conductor sleeve without a partition. A first aspect of the present invention provides a method for compressively connecting conductors, the first feature of which is that when inserting and compressing one of the first conductors into the conductor sleeve, the end of the conductor sleeve opposite to the end into which the conductors are inserted. A cylindrical rigid body having a half length of the conductor sleeve and an outer diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the conductor sleeve is inserted from the portion, and the conductor sleeve on the side into which the cylindrical rigid body is inserted is engaged with the camel's hump of the conductor sleeve. Grasping with a fixing member having an inner surface shape, holding this state, insert the conductor from the end of the conductor sleeve where the cylindrical rigid body is not inserted, and insert the conductor sleeve into the conductor end. Discipline while is to compress the Cobb portion of the conductor sleeve on the side of inserting the conductor.

1 (a) and 1 (b) are explanatory views showing a longitudinal section of a procedure for carrying out the first feature of the method for compression-connecting a conductor for a power cable according to the present invention. In the drawing, the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 3 represent the same parts. As shown in the drawing, when the first one conductor 2 is compressed from one end (10b side) of the camel-type conductor sleeve 10, the end (10b side) of the conductor sleeve 10 into which the conductor 2 is inserted. A cylindrical rigid body 11 made of, for example, steel is inserted from the end portion (10a side) opposite to the side. The cylindrical rigid body 11 has a half length of the entire length of the conductor sleeve 10 and an outer diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the conductor sleeve 10, and a screw tap hole 11a is formed at the center thereof. As described above, the outer side of the bump portion 10a of the conductor sleeve 10 having the cylindrical rigid body 11 inserted at one end is engaged with the bump portion 10a, and its side surface extends to the end surface of the cylindrical rigid body 11. FIG. 2 is an explanatory view showing a longitudinal section of a method for carrying out the second feature of the present invention. When the compression of the first conductor 2 is completed, the fixing tape 13 and the fixing member 12 are removed, a screw or bolt 14 is screwed into the screw tap hole 11a of the cylindrical rigid body 11, and the cylindrical rigid body 11 is pulled by pulling in the direction of the arrow. Pull out. Then, insert the other conductor from the end portion (10a) of the conductor sleeve 10 from which the cylindrical rigid body 11 is pulled out, and press it against the end portion of the conductor 2 that has been compressed, and the bump portion 10a of the conductor sleeve 10 is pushed. Compress and complete the connection.
