The lower end portion is fixed by a partition wall 08 that partitions a gas sump chamber 04 and a tank chamber 09, which will be described later. Further, the screen mesh 03 is formed of fine wires with a wire having a small wire diameter so as to obtain high surface tension, and as shown in FIG.
It is stretched on the front surface of the 0 opening.

In order to discharge the propellant injected into the tank chamber 09, there is an injection / exhaust port 07 for injecting / exhausting pressurized gas into the tank chamber 09, and at the other end facing the injection / exhaust port 07,
A pouring / draining port 06 for discharging from the tank chamber 09 is provided in order to inject the propellant into the tank chamber 09 or to supply the propellant in the tank chamber 09 to the thruster. At the opening of the propellant tank main body 01 of the injection / drainage port 06, as described above, it is separated from the tank chamber 09 by the partition wall 08 and collected through the gallery 02 including the screen mesh 03 and the frame 010. The gas sump chamber 04 for introducing the propellant is defined, and the gas sump chamber 04 is provided with a gas trap 05 for separating the gas remaining in the introduced propellant.

It is pushed by the pressurized gas introduced from the inside, passes through the screen mesh 03, and enters the frame 010. At this time, the surface tension type tank is characterized in that the surface tension of the propellant generated on the surface of the screen mesh 03 is used to separate the propellant from the pressurized gas. That is,
The propellant that is installed in an artificial satellite that travels in a microgravity field cannot be expected to separate gas and liquid due to gravity on the ground. It is necessary that the propellant can be taken out from the pouring / draining port 06 and supplied to the thruster under any posture of the propellant tank body 01 with respect to the direction of gravity.

The propellant that has passed through the screen mesh 03 due to the capillary phenomenon passes through the inside of the frame 010 and reaches the pouring / draining port 06, whereas the screen mesh 03 is propelled at a portion that is not immersed in the propellant. A liquid film is formed by wetting with the agent, the pressurized gas is prevented from passing by the surface tension, and the gas is separated from the inside of the frame 010, and only the gas-separated propellant is poured. -It is designed to be supplied to the drain port 06.

And a gas sampling device such as a gas trap 05 is installed in the gas sump chamber 04 to further perform gas-liquid separation of the propellant collected in the gallery 02 and supply it to the thruster. The propellant is prevented from containing gas, and only the propellant can be allowed to flow out from the injection / drainage port 06 until the propellant in the tank chamber 09 is exhausted.

Therefore, there is a problem that the surface of the screen mesh 03 formed of a wire having a small wire diameter is easily damaged by slag or the like generated by welding, as will be described later. Also, screen mesh 03
Since the frame 010 for welding and fixing is fixed to the propellant tank main body 01 along the inner surface of the tank whose back surface is arcuate, it is difficult to weld the screen mesh 03 to the arcuate front surface. There was also the problem of being there.

To obtain high surface tension, for example, # 2300 × 3
It is necessary to use a fine mesh such as 25, and for that purpose, it is necessary to make a wire having a thin wire diameter. For this reason, there is a problem that fatigue fracture occurs when the vibration load generated by the artificial satellite or the like is applied to the welding surface between the screen mesh 03 of the gallery 02 and the frame 010. In order to prevent this, or in order to prevent the above-mentioned damage to the surface during welding, the wire diameter of the screen mesh 03 may be increased so as to have high strength. In that case,
The mesh of the screen mesh 03 is inevitably rough and there is a problem that the surface tension required for gas-liquid separation cannot be obtained.

In order to increase the discharge efficiency of the propellant in such a surface tension type tank, the propellant and the opening of the gallery that collects the propellant, that is, the screen mesh 03 provided in the opening are used.
Although it is necessary to increase the contact area between the surface tension type tank and the propellant, there is a problem that the gallery 02 inevitably becomes large and the total weight of the surface tension type tank increases.

In addition, the welding work is facilitated, and a large surface tension required for gas-liquid separation can be generated in the screen mesh without causing the problem of fatigue fracture of the attachment part of the screen mesh with the frame, Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to provide a propellant trapping device for a surface tension type tank that can prevent the gallery from becoming large and improve the discharge efficiency of the propellant without increasing the overall weight of the surface tension type tank.

It is arranged on the inner wall surface with the outer peripheral surface facing the inner wall of the tank, and is provided with a frame serving as a support, and U-shaped both end portions are fixedly attached to the inner peripheral surface of the frame, and formed on three U-shaped surfaces. A gallery consisting of a screen mesh made of a porous metal sintered body, which is capable of increasing the discharge efficiency of the propellant by generating a large surface tension in the mesh portion to be provided, was provided inside the tank.

The screen mesh is molded into a U-shape, and the material is changed to a porous metal sintered body that generates surface tension, and the U-shaped upper part is attached to the front surface of the frame, which is the back surface that is fixed to the inner wall of the tank. Both ends are welded to form surface tension generating portions on the three surfaces.

Damage to the screen mesh attachment part can be avoided. Also,
At the same time, by eliminating the thin-film screen mesh, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of defects on the surface of the screen mesh due to welding work, and it is possible to improve the discharge efficiency of the propellant.

Furthermore, the entire three surfaces of the gallery were made of a porous metal sintered body,
Since it is composed of a screen mesh that is an opening that generates a large surface tension, the area of the opening that opens to the tank chamber is wide, and the contact area with the propellant can be increased,
The propellant discharge efficiency is improved. This makes it possible to reduce the size and weight of the gallery and reduce the overall weight of the surface tension tank.

Occasionally, the surface of the mesh portion is damaged by welding slag or the like, and the magnitude of the surface tension generated in the screen mesh 3 does not decrease. In addition, if the occurrence of clogging due to welding slag or the like, the proportion of the welded portion can be kept minute because the contact area with the propellant is increased as will be described later. Even so, the problems associated with welding installation can be resolved.

The welding is performed by planar welding in which both ends of the U-shape are pressed against both ends of the flat frame 2, so that the manufacturing is extremely easy. Further, as the welding is facilitated, the structural strength of the screen mesh 3 in the welded portion can be increased without reducing the magnitude of the surface tension generated in the screen mesh 3, so that the fatigue strength of the welded portion against vibration load is remarkably increased. It can be improved and damage can be prevented.

It can be expanded to more than 3 times the mesh 03. As a result, the discharge efficiency of the propellant can be increased, the gallery 1 can be downsized, and the weight can be reduced.

推進剤捕集装置。1. A propellant and the pressurizing agent are added to a tank equipped with a pressurized gas injection / exhaust port and a propellant injection / drainage port by utilizing the surface tension of a screen mesh fixed to the outer surface. In a propellant collection device for a surface tension type tank, which is provided with a gallery for performing gas-liquid separation from a pressure gas and sending the separated propellant to the injection / drainage port, the gallery has an outer periphery on an inner wall of the tank. A surface tension type having a configuration in which the U-shaped screen mesh formed of a porous metal sintered body is extended on the inner peripheral surface of an arcuate frame arranged so that the surfaces face each other. Tank propellant collection device.
