Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a colored gel coat and a stone tone for stone tone forming used for producing a stone tone artificial stone used for producing a bathroom, a wash basin, a kitchen unit and the like. It is about artificial stone. Specifically, the colored gel coat of the present invention is excellent in storability and is easy to handle when manufacturing an artificial stone. Further, the present invention provides a molded product having little variation in the appearance of the obtained artificial stone and excellent transparency (three-dimensional effect) and transparency.

There is also a strong sense of luxury in the equipment of private houses, and it has been tried to use it for bathrooms and walls. However, natural granite and marble are expensive products due to the limited amount of production and the difficulty of obtaining large ones. Therefore, as an alternative to marble and granite, fiber reinforced plastic (hereinafter FR

Molded article using granular material As the most general molded article using a granular material, first, a transparent or semi-transparent gel coat layer is formed in the first layer, which is a surface layer, in the mold, and an intermediate layer is formed. The second layer is a gel coat layer containing granular materials such as crushed stone and hardened resin, and finally the third layer, which is the lowermost layer, is colored with an opaque gel coat as a masking layer.
A molded article is manufactured by a method in which a coating layer is applied and cured, and then an FRP reinforcing layer is laminated, cured, and released. (2). Multi-color coated molded product A stone-tone molded product is manufactured by a method in which several types of gel coats of different colors are simultaneously sprayed onto the surface of the mold, and then an FRP reinforced layer is laminated and cured to release the mold ( Granite, marble, etc.) are manufactured.

Further, the density of the granular material is different due to the uneven thickness of the intermediate layer, and the reproducibility is poor and it is difficult to manufacture a product having the same appearance. In addition, the obtained molded product has the drawback that the lowermost layer is an opaque layer and the granular substance is present in the intermediate layer, so that the granular substance tends to be flat and has a poor three-dimensional effect. In the stone-grained artificial stone molded product of (2), the production amount is sprayed simultaneously with several types of gel coats, so the amount of spraying is delicately adjusted (1). However, it is very difficult to manufacture products having the same appearance with poor reproducibility. In particular, in the molding of (2)., The gel coat solution sometimes drips on the surface of the FRP during the spraying work, which is a cause of lowering the commercial value of the obtained molded product.

The most commonly used method for decorating the surface with artificial stone is (1) and (2), both of which require a lot of equipment and skill to create a stone pattern. Although the work is complicated and the equipment cost is large, there is a drawback that a molded product having the same appearance cannot be manufactured. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention exhibit a stone tone by only applying it once to the FRP surface in order to simplify the coating work, and the obtained molded product is a stone grain that can manufacture an artificial stone comparable to natural stone. A colored gel coat for toning and molding and its molded product were studied and developed.

A colored gel coat for stone-tone molding was developed by mixing 0.1 to 50 parts of 5 mm granular material for stone.
Then, molding using the colored gel coat for stone tone molding, that is, in a cured resin composition obtained by coloring 100 parts of a gel coat containing an unsaturated polyester resin as a main component with 0.01 to 5.0 parts of a pigment, an average of Granular material for stone with a particle size of 0.1 mm to 5 mm
The present invention has developed a stone-grained artificial stone of the present invention having a surface in which 0.1 to 50 parts are dispersed and fixed. As the gel coat containing an unsaturated polyester resin as a main component used in the present invention, any transparent gel coat conventionally used in FRP molding can be used.

The granular material for stones may be any as long as it has been compounded and used in a gel coat, and examples thereof include crushed stone, mica, fine particles of polyester film, and colored unsaturated polyester pulverized products. As the granular material for stone, its surface is a silane compound, for example, vinylsilane,
Those chemically treated with acrylic silane, epoxy silane, amino silane, titanium silane and the like are preferable because they have good wettability with the gel coat, are uniformly dispersed in the solution and do not sediment even after long-term storage. Therefore, the obtained molded product also has a significantly improved boiling resistance and provides a molded product using a colored gel coat for stone tone molding, which exhibits an excellent effect in three-dimensional effect (depth).

Add 5.0 parts. When the amount of the pigment is less than 0.01 part, the hiding power is weakened and the weather resistance is lowered, which is not preferable. On the other hand, if it is more than 5.0 parts, the resulting stone-tone molded article becomes opaque and the particulate matter becomes difficult to see, which is not preferable. The average particle diameter of the granular material for grain is 0.1 mm to 5 mm. 0.1 mm
If it is less than the above, the stone effect is poor. On the other hand, if it is 5 mm or more, the coating workability due to the spray is deteriorated, which is not preferable.
The amount of the granular material used for grain is 0.1 to 50 parts. If it is less than 0.1 part, the stone effect is poor. On the other hand, if the amount is more than 50 parts, the workability in coating, particularly spray coating is deteriorated, which is not preferable.

By providing only one gel coat layer on the surface, it is possible to manufacture a molded product exhibiting an excellent stone effect, which greatly contributes to the rationalization of the work. As described above, the colored gel coat for stone tone molding of the present invention is very easy to work without the need for repeated (lamination) coating as in the conventional art, and the stone texture is lower in cost than the conventional product. It became possible to produce artificial stones. Moreover, the molded product obtained by coating and curing can obtain the stone-grained artificial stone of the present invention exhibiting a fluff (three-dimensional effect) superior to conventional products. Further, the method for producing a stone-grained artificial stone of the present invention is excellent in reproducibility, which facilitates the production of a molded article having the same pattern.
