Abstract

PURPOSE: To repair by welding from outside only by arranging an insert material to the damaged part of honeycomb panel in repairing a honeycomb panel and welding between an insert material and honeycomb panel. CONSTITUTION: Cracked part of a face plate 2 of damaged part of the honeycomb panel, which consists of a pair of face plates 2 and a core 3 arranged between face plates 2 and the face plates 2 and core 3 are brazed, is removed. The removed shape is desirably round in order to avoid stress concentration. Subsequently, at the face plate removed part, an insert material 7 held with sucking disk is tack-welded to the removed face plate 2, successively, the insert material 7 and face plate 2 are butt-welded. Or, after the face plate 2 and core 3 at the cracked part of brazed layer, brazing face plate 2 and core 3, is removed, a backing is welded to the face plate 2, successively, the insert material 7 is arranged to the removed part and then the insert material 7 and face plate 2 are welded. Finally, reinforcement of welding is removed and surface is made flat.

2. Description of the Related Art In a railcar structure using a honeycomb panel having a pair of face plates and a core arranged between the face plates, and the face plates and the core being joined to each other, damage to the honeycomb panel is caused by pebbles jumping up during traveling. May occur. As a repair method in such a case, a hole penetrating the pair of face plates of the damaged portion is provided and a member to be repaired is inserted into the hole. Then, it is known to weld the repair member and the respective face plate. In this case, the repair member has a large diameter flange and a small diameter flange, and the small diameter flange is inserted into the hole. At this time, the large-diameter flange overlaps the face plate of the repaired honeycomb panel in the opening, while the small-diameter flange overlaps the other face plate. The above-mentioned repair method is a method of removing a damaged portion of a honeycomb panel so that a pair of face plates penetrates, inserting a repair member, and welding. Therefore, when a honeycomb panel is used as the outer plate member of a railroad vehicle, stones or the like collide from the outside of the vehicle, causing damage to the honeycomb panel, and even if the honeycomb panel is not damaged to the inside of the vehicle, the fittings on the inside of the vehicle can be used. It was necessary to remove it and repair and weld it from the inside of the car. Therefore, it could not be easily repaired.

Further, the repair method is a structure in which a small-diameter flange is inserted into a hole and the large-diameter flange covers the hole of one face plate, and the small-diameter flange overlaps with the other face plate to close the hole. There is. Therefore, in order to make the surface of the repaired portion smooth, it was necessary to weld the small-diameter flange portion by overlay welding. As a result, there is a problem in that the amount of welding in the overlay welded portion increases and the welding strain in the repaired portion increases.

As shown in FIG. 3, in a vehicle in which the honeycomb panel 1 is used as a roof, side, or floor as an outer plate member, when the stone collides with the vehicle during traveling, the honeycomb panel 1 is dented. At that time, small dents are to be repaired by filling them with putty. However, if a concave portion or a crack 2a is found in the face plate 2 as shown in FIG. 4 by an appearance inspection or a penetrant inspection, It is necessary to close the crack 2a.

Therefore, first, as shown in FIG. 5, the face plate 2
The crack 2a is removed. The removed shape is preferably circular so as to avoid stress concentration. After that, FIG.
As shown in, the insert material 7 is inserted into the face plate removing portion. The insert 7 is held by a suction cup (not shown) and removed to temporarily remove the face plate 2. As shown in FIG. 1, the insert material 7 and the face plate 2 are butt-welded together, and then the weld bead 8 is removed to make the surface smooth. For holding the insert material 7, a welded member for a handle can be used instead of the suction cup. Finally, cut the handle and finish by cutting.

In this embodiment, similarly to the first embodiment, the insert material 7 is arranged in the removed portion of the face plate of the damaged portion of the honeycomb panel 1, and the insert material 7 and the face plate 2 are welded together. The face plate 2 around the damaged portion is overlay welded. That is, after the insert material 7 is welded, the face plate 2 and the core 3 are made by an ultrasonic device.
Check the joining condition of the brazed part. This is because cracks may occur in the brazed portion in addition to the cracks in the face plate. As a result, as shown in FIG. 7, when a crack 9 is generated in the brazed portion of the face plate 2 and the core 3, the crack 9 may propagate, so it needs to be repaired. Therefore, FIG.
As shown in FIG. 3, by overlaying the cracked portion of the brazing layer, the crack in the brazing portion is melted and solidified to repair the crack. The initial fixing of the insert material 7 is the same as described above.

As shown in FIG. 10, the face plate 2 at the place where the crack 9 in the concave portion 2 and the brazing part of the face plate 2 is removed is removed. Then, as shown in FIG. 11, the inserter is attached to the removing portion of the face plate 2.
The insert member 7 is inserted, and the insert member 7 and the face plate 2 are butt-welded together. Then, the excess of the weld bead 8 is removed. As a result, since the crack 9 in the brazed portion is inside the weld bead 8, it is possible to perform repair so that the crack 9 in the brazed portion does not propagate. The initial fixing of the insert material 7 is the same as described above.

As shown in FIG. 12, after removing the face plate in the recess, the backing plate 11 is attached. The backing plate 11 is divided into a plurality of pieces, and is temporarily fixed to the face plate 2 which is held by the suction cup and removed as described above. After that, as shown in FIG. 13, the insert material 7c is arranged in the face plate removing portion, and the insert material 7c and the face plate 2 are welded. This backing plate 11
When the face plate 2 is thin, it is effective to prevent the weld bead 8 from burning through during welding. As a result, it is possible to perform high-quality welding without the burn-through of the weld beads.

As shown in FIG. 15, the damaged portion of the honeycomb panel extends to the face plates 2 and 2 on both sides, or the face plates are damaged, but the damaged area is large and deep, and the core 3 is damaged. In this case, as shown in FIG. 16, the damaged portion of the honeycomb panel is removed so as to penetrate the pair of face plates 2 and 2. Then, as shown in FIG. 17, the substitute panel 12 having the same shape as the honeycomb panel is inserted into the removed portion of the honeycomb panel. Further, as shown in FIG. 18, after the face plates 2 are butt-welded to each other, the excess of the weld beads 8 is removed by a grinder or the like. As a result, the surface of the repaired part becomes smooth. The alternative panel 12 is temporarily welded while being held by a suction cup or the like as in the first embodiment.

As shown in FIG. 19, after the damaged portion is removed so as to penetrate the pair of face plates, the substitute honeycomb panel 12b is formed.
The backing plate 11 divided into a plurality of pieces with a part of the
b and 11b are inserted and placed on the back plate of one face plate 2 and the face plate of the alternative panel 12b on the other face plate 2 side, and temporary fixing welding is performed. In this state, as shown in FIG. 20, the substitute honeycomb panel 12b is completely inserted into the honeycomb panel to be repaired. As a result, as shown in FIG. 21, welding can be performed with the backing plates 11b installed on the welded portions on both sides. Therefore, even if the face plate 2 has a small thickness, since no burn-through occurs during welding, a high quality welded portion can be obtained.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, since the insert material is arranged and welded to the damaged portion of the honeycomb panel, the repair can be performed by welding only from one surface, so that the repair is easy. You can Also, by inserting an alternative honeycomb panel and butt-welding the face plates together,
The smooth surface makes it possible to repair highly reliable honeycomb panels.
