【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 前面を開口した箱形の本体部と、その本
体部の一面を構成する基板の前端から内方に折り返され
た弾性接触片とを備え、相手の雄形端子金具のタブが前
記本体部の開口から前記弾性接触片を撓ませつつその弾
性接触片と弾性的な接触可能に挿入される雌型端子金具
において、 前記本体部の開口における前記弾性接触片の折り返し部
を挟んだ一側の側縁には保護片が延出して設けられ、そ
の保護片の先端が前記開口の他側の側縁に向けて折り曲
げられることで、前記弾性接触片の折り返し部の前方を
覆って保護可能とされるとともに、前記開口の他側の側
縁には、前記保護片の先端と係合してその保護片が前記
タブの挿入方向と交差する方向に揺動変形するのを規制
する規制部が設けられていることを特徴とする雌型端子
金具。
