く中継芯4が固定され、該中継芯4の後部が前記中綿2
の先端部に連結されている。筒状でかつ金属製のガイド
部材5は中間部が凹陥して薄肉に形成され、ガイド部材
5の内孔5Aにペン先6が挿入される。この状態で、ガ
イド部材5の薄肉部をポンチングにより押圧して突部5
Bを形成し、該突部5Bがペン先6に食い込んでペン先
6を固定する。図示した実施例では突部5Bを4つ形成
したが、突部は2つでも3つでもよい。ペン先6の材質
としては、インキを含浸可能な弾性体であればスポンジ
等種々のものが考えられるが、例えば気孔径10μ±
1、開口率75%〜80%のウレタンフォームが考えら
れる。前記ペン先6を固定したガイド部材5はホルダー
3の前部穴3Cに圧入固定され、ペン先6の後部が前記
中継芯4に接触する。ホルダー3に圧入されるガイド部
材5は、厚肉の固定部5Cがホルダー3の前部穴3Cに
圧入されるので、ガイド部材5は強固に圧入固定され
る。従って、ペン先6は突部5Bによりごく一部が変形
するのみで、ペン先6内におけるインキの流通が妨げら
れる恐れは全くない。更にペン先6を覆うキャップ7が
軸筒1の前部外側1Bに取り付けられる。
