The above-mentioned dust collecting filter captures dust and the like having a large inertial force by colliding with the wall surface of the filter and the like in the process in which the dust-containing fluid passes through the honeycomb-shaped through holes having different directions while sequentially swirling. However, there are problems that the shape is complicated and the manufacturing is troublesome, and it is very difficult to remove the captured dust and the like.

When removing dust in a fluid such as soot by the dust collecting filter constructed as described above, the dust collecting filter is installed in the fluid passage in a direction perpendicular to the fluid inflow direction. Then, the fluid flowing in from the front side of the dust collecting filter toward the dust collecting filter as shown by the arrows in FIGS. 3 and 4 is between the adjacent filter elements 1a and 1a in the front row as shown in FIG. After entering the space between the filter element 1b of the second row through the gap S, the inner surface of the top portion of the hessian filter element 1b of the second row is distributed to the left and right, and the second row is adjacent to each other. It enters into the gap S between the filter elements 1b and 1b. By sequentially repeating this, the fluid passes through the adjacent gaps S of the filter elements 1 in a plurality of rows in order while making a large detour as shown by the arrow in FIG. 4, and at that time, dust or the like having a large inertial force is removed from the filter element 1. The inertial force is weakened by colliding with the wall surface, and is attached and captured on the wall surface, particularly on the inner surface of the top of the V-shaped filter element 1.

The trapped dust and the like may be removed by cleaning at appropriate times. At that time, since the dust collecting filter according to the present invention is made of the filter element having the simple V-shaped cross section as described above, it can be easily removed. Can be removed. In particular, if the ridge line at the top of the V-shaped filter element 1 is installed in the vertical direction as in the illustrated example, a part of dust and the like trapped on the wall surface of the filter element falls under its own weight and remains attached to the wall surface. The dust and the like can be easily removed with a brush or the like. In that case, as shown in FIG. 2, if an opening 30 for discharging trapped dust is provided on at least the lower surface of the frame 3, the frame 3
Can be removed without removing.
