て、一方の棟瓦の端部の頂部に、コの字状にほぼ水平方
向に張り出した上側と下側の挟持片を有する挟持金具の

当接させ、この下側の挟持片の上より釘を用いて棟瓦の
頂部の裏側に設けられた固定金具に打釘することにより
一方の棟瓦を固定し、他方の接続される棟瓦の他端の頂
部を上記挟持金具の上側と下側の挟持片の間に嵌め込ん
で固定することを特徴とする棟瓦の固定方法。1.
