Abstract

PURPOSE:To enlarge the effective filter area of the screen unit, to suppress the entanglement of impurities and to easily remove dust in a screen unit made of punching metal connected to endless chains making the uppunched part of a peripheral edge part thereof a screen frame and bending it to integrally constitute the screen. CONSTITUTION:An endless screen using a punching metal 72 in which a lot of holes are pierced to a flat plate is expanded and arranged in a multistage bending manner in parallel to a water channel and also to be submerged under water of the water channel. The screen is retated to remove dust caught by the screen. The unpunched peripheral edge part of the punching metal 72 is erected to turn it into screen frames 72, 73. The frame 73 is formed by bending the end side part of the metal 72 almost at a right angle, and it is engaged with the endless chain 71. The longitudinal side edge part of the frame 74 is bent in the same direction as that of the end side part at a prescribed indlined angle theta. The inclined angle theta is determined so that the frame 74 can be bent according to the bending of the chain when the screen unit 70 is engaged with the chain 71.

However, when a bar screen screen is used for removing fine dust as in the prior art, the effective passage area of the screen is reduced by reducing the mesh width of the screen. If a large amount of sewage is treated by flowing it, the loss becomes large. Also, film and string-like dust is more likely to come off than the screen mesh, and in the case of a mesh screen, dust is easily entangled and reliable removal is not possible. It was difficult. In a screen using a wire mesh, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a frame material made of L-shaped steel or the like is further covered with a filter material having a required size and a mesh, and the frame material, the filter material, Bolts and nuts are used to fasten and secure the space between the holding materials. For this reason, there are protrusions such as bolts and nuts on the periphery of the screen unit, dust is easily entangled here, and there is a disadvantage that blind spots tend to remain when brushing etc. As a result, there is a defect that the frame protrudes into the filtering portion to reduce the effective filtering area.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the screen unit constituting the endless screen 7 determines the plate thickness and plate size to be used according to the size and strength of the screen, and the four peripheral portions thereof. Of the punching metal 7 for the screen unit 70 is not perforated, but is perforated with a required diameter and pitch over substantially the entire central portion except for the four peripheral portions.
2 is formed, and then the four peripheral portions are raised to form screen frames 73 and 74. The screen frame 73 is formed by bending the end side portion of the punching metal 72 at a substantially right angle. The screen frame 73 is attached to the endless chain 71, and the other screen frame 74 is a long side edge portion of the punching metal 72. Is bent in the same direction as the end side portion and at a predetermined inclination angle θ. When the screen unit 70 is attached to the endless chain 71, the inclination angle θ of the screen frame 74 is
It shall be determined so that it can be smoothly bent according to the bending of the chain. It should be noted that it is easy to stop bending and weld the frame to obtain a similar structure.

Therefore, sewage is made to flow from the inner surface of each U-shaped screen inside A1, A2 of the endless screen 7 arranged in a double-fold W-shape or in a multi-stage folding type so as to be driven to rotate in the water channel 1, When the water is discharged to the water channel B or C outside the screen, the screen residue in the wastewater is captured by both the inner side surfaces of the U-shaped screen inside A1 and A2 facing the descending side and the scraping side, and then the screen rotates. At, the captured screen residue is scraped up above the water channel through the screen scraping upper side. Clean this from the back of the screen with the cleaning nozzle 10
The dust adhering to the screen surface can be separated from the screen surface by spraying the cleaning water at N or by rotating the brush, and at the lower position, collecting the running water trough etc. installed in the upper part of the screen 7. The particles are dropped and collected in the discharge device 9 and discharged outside the water channel.

According to the screen moving type dust remover of the present invention, an endless screen using punching metal formed by punching a large number of holes in a flat plate is bent in multiple stages so as to be parallel to the water channel and to be submerged below the water surface of the water channel. In a screen-moving type dust eliminator that is arranged in a stretched manner and is driven to rotate this endless screen and removes dust trapped on the screen, the four peripheral edges of the plate material with a smooth surface are left. When using a punching metal that is perforated over almost the entire surface, and the end sides of the unperforated four peripheral edges are almost at a right angle, and the long side edges are rotated along the wheel by the endless screen,
Endless chains are attached to the screen frames on the end sides of the adjacently arranged screen units by endless chains while the screen frames are built up facing each other at a predetermined angle so as to bend smoothly. Therefore, the effective filtration area of the screen unit can be increased. Furthermore, since the screen unit does not have protrusions such as bolts and nuts for mounting to the frame, it is possible to suppress the entanglement of foreign matters, smooth the removal of screen residue without clogging the screen eyes even during long-term operation, and Since the surface becomes smooth, there is an advantage that impurities can be easily removed by brushing or the like.
