方向と奥行き方向が、また、係合爪２６と係合孔１２の
係合により幅方向の位置決めがそれぞれ行われて正確な
取付位置の確保とガタツキ発生の防止が達成されること

トリム本体１にしっかりと固定一体化できることとな
る。また、軟質合成樹脂からなるリップ部２７によりウ
ェザーストリップとしての機能も十分に発揮できること
となる。しかも、挟持枠部２２の下面にはドアインナー
パネル１１の上端に形成された鍔状片部１３を挿入させ
る連結溝２５を介してドアインナーパネル１１の上部に
配設された各係合孔１２との係合爪２６を先端に備えた
複数個の連結片２４が配設してあり、この連結溝２５ド
アインナーパネル１１の上端の鍔状片部１３が嵌合され
た状態となっていることにより、ドアトリム本体１とド
アインナーパネル１１とがウェザーストリップ２を介し
正確に位置決めされた状態で一体化された構造となって
おり、このため、寸法精度に優れかつガタツキのない高

しく歩留りを悪くしていたのに対し、本発明ではガーニ
ッシュ先端部を単純に切断処理したものや基材に表皮材
を巻き込み成形したものに対してウェザーストリップ２
のカシメ作業を行うため困難な切断加工等は一切不要と
なるとともに、表皮材の加工歩留り等も大幅に向上でき

費の削減も図ることができ、更には表皮材を基材に巻き
込んでから装着作業を施すことができて取付作業の自由
度を拡げることができるとともに、表皮材の歩留りも著
しく向上させることができる。また、特に、ドアインナ
ーパネルとの連結部を、ドアインナーパネルの上部に設
けられた係合孔との係合爪を先端に備えた連結片と、該
連結片と前記挟持枠部との間に形成されてドアインナー
パネルの上端に形成された鍔状片部を挿入させる連結溝
とよりなるものとしたときは、ドアインナーパネルへの
連結作業の際の位置決めが容易でしかも組立後における
ガタツキも確実に防止することができるうえに、組立作
業性および組立後におけるガタツキ防止効果も特に優れ
たものとなる。従って、本発明は従来の自動車用ウェザ
ーストリップの問題点を解決したものとして産業の発展
