Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a one-way clutch assembly for a stator whose bush configuration can be simplified, cost can be reduced and whose axial length can be shortened. CONSTITUTION: End bearings 6 are assembled on both sides of a one-way clutch 1 of a torque converter, support functions for an outer ring 2 and an inner ring 3 are omitted from a bush 5, simplification of a bush configuration is attempted and also it is made possible to shorten the axial length of a total clutch assembly. If a circular recessed groove is provided on the surface of each end bearing 6 and a hole 7 for lubrication is opened on the groove bottom, lubricating oil can be introduced in the one-way clutch smoothly even though the position of the hole 7 is shifted from the position of oil hole 9 opened in the bush 5.
